  1. I vote 1337 |-|4XX0R (not really)
  2. That reminds me, I want a special title too.
  3. Saw a black Edsel convertible ina used car lot near my house over the summer. They are unique. They aren't pretty but not nearly as ugly as other cars I've seen.
  4. By popular (my own) demand, I present the Official Pet Thread! I'll kick things off with photos of our pets. Our ham, Patches Her brother, Bear Our rescued cat, who we found, of all places, in a PetSmart parking lot near Christmas 2 years ago, Ginger Our oldest cat, Rose Our biggest cat, "The Lump", rescued when he was a stray kitten, Spitfire and our two Silver Tip "Sharks" Ula and Murry, who we finally decided to name after owning them for 3 years, back when they were the size of a pinky, now they're two-third's the length of my forearm.
  5. How about an official one?
  6. Like for posting photos/telling everyone about our pets? I thought maybe we did but can't find it.
  7. Thanks! Yes it's totally worth it to build your own desktop...because then you can build it to be exactly what you want: nothing more nothing less. Plus it's usually cheaper, and and way more rewarding (and they look cooler if you choose to make it showy).
  8. The sad thing is that my girlfriend's computer is way cleaner inside...but has no window to see how well I organized it. For some reason my cables don't stay hidden well.
  9. Se though, if they have a sense of design, they should be able to find jobs in other Graphic Design areas. That sucks though. It's the last place automakers should be cutting back on. The car pictured is ugly though.
  10. Yeah, he's not camera shy. I especially like how his eyes came out. Hell yes. I love that case, it's still my favorite design as far as cases go, plus it has a mirror black finish. Only thing I don't like about it is that you have to leave teh door open to use the USB ports, and the door is made from plastic so I always have that worry it could get hit while open and break. That all being said, my girlfriend's COOLER MASTER Centurion case cost haf the price and is better built, feels way more solid (and it's all metal save for the quick release tabs). I could always post more.
  11. So after wanting a good digital camera for the last three years, I (we) finally got one for Christmas. Jessica and I got it as a gift from my brother and my mother. It's a Canon SX10 IS. Funny thing is it's the same one BV recently got, and even funnier is that it he bought his from the same place this came from: newegg. I love taking pictures, so this is quite awesome. For now I'm just playing with the settings and taking test photos, but what a difference compared to the Kodak. So naturally I've taken one or two.
  12. I think everyone who has heard of the Edsel knows that analogy, same with "Oldsmobile sucking a lemon". It failed I think principally because it was hyped up to be like the Second Coming, when it turned out to be nothing extraordinary.
  13. Always liked the generation. I know how much it was, I want to know how it runs and drives.
  14. Mopar or no car A thread about Plymouths makes my day (which started 5 minutes ago). Thanks HarleyEarl!
  15. Not much. I'd buy it (if I had 20k).
  16. That's funny, because as I recall, when it debuted it was hailed as having a well executed, quality interior. Apparently so does InsideLine I have yet to get someone to give me a real reason why they think it's cheap beyond "it's cheap." The 300 was and is noted for it's responsive handling relative to anything else in it's class, as well as RWD, V8, and the 3.5 V6. No one called it bland, and if that's what you truly think of it, that's fine, but what the hell do you call a Corolla then? The same edmunds review: Find Motor Trend and Car and Driver road tests and they say about the same thing. It was not a half-assed car.
  17. Merry Christmas! Plans: stay at home with family, call relatives, have a Christmas Dinner, and enjoy whatever gifts I get!
  18. One of our cats likes to sit in the tub, hell if you're in their with her she'll take a bath without fuss.
  19. I find this statement very, very insulting and irritating. You don't have to own something RWD or aspire to it to be a car enthusiast.
  20. It starts with one, and goes from there.
  21. Exactly right.
  22. Anyway, I really don't have a problem with religion, as Camino said: it has no use to me, but certainly we should all tolerate each other and their religion, just don't try to shove it down each others throats, and keep it out of our political system.
  23. A little of column A, a little of Column B I'd. And plenty left out intentionally too.
