Intrepidation

Breakfast is usually lunch, however this week I did actually make breakfast for 2. 5 large eggs1 cup or so (I usually eyeball it) Heavy Cream (this makes the eggs extra rich and fluffy)2 tsp Salt (I usually eyeball it)1 tbs Pepper (I usually eyeball it)1 tbs butter2-3 slices of cheese of your choice (I only had American this time)8 breakfast sausage linksand/pr 6 slices of bacon Combine eggs, cream, salt, and pepper into large mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly. Lightly grease pan with butter and turn heat on to medium. Pour egg mixture into pan, add remaining butter. Quickly, place sausage in microwave or pan cook it if desired. While sausage cooks, stir egg mixture constantly, this is important to do as it cooks to prevent sticking/burning. If you have bacon you can microwave it, or if you have one of those George Foreman grills (we do) turn it on and use it, cooks for about 2 minutes. I swear those grills were made for cooking bacon...the best bacon I've ever had came from using that grill. Crispy yet juicy...yum. Anyway... Continue to stir egg mixture, as it cooks and becomes solid flip the egg mixture with whatever you are using to stir it. Cook it just until most of the liquid/juices are gone. Reduce heat to very low. Break up and mix in cheese until melted. Place food on 2 plates and serve. Nothing complex but very good IMHO. -- ocn I think I'll have to try your recipe sometime, sounds tasty.

Again, I don't care for the SRX but as usual, much of your post is based on assumptions (pulling things out of your ass) and not facts. Also, the Acura won that test, it's based on a FWD platform.

Well I'll say this for Lexus, they made the new SRX look 1000x better in comparison, and I didn't even care for the new SRX.

I saw this thing at the auto show. It's like Hyundai looked at the last RX, liked it, wanted to make a knockoff of it, then Toyota looked at the Veracruz, liked it, and made a knockoff of a knockoff. It's terrible, and that center stack is no better. It will still sell though.

I like the last Cube, but not this new one. The new one seems like a step back. I don't like the xB.

Satty, We visited KS/ last year shortly after the ice storm. If there was ice in AR it wasn't bad, but I remember going through Wichita and there was lots and lots of tree limbs down. The one she refers too as being really bad as probably `05. Moltar, I agree, driving in ice is the worst condition to drive in. Snow isn't bad at all, just use your brain, common sense, and patience and it's fine and even fun...except the traffic jams... -- Went and did some shopping today. People are funny...acting liek it's the end of the world. Gas station were overflowing with cars, grocery stores were packed. Although I'm guessing some people are getting gas for their generators. Much of the neighboring towns are without power. Also, that National Grid van is still parked there.

We get snow more than ice, what you guys calla blizzard we call light to moderate snow. But yeah, I saw pictures from that ice storm yu guys had down there a few years back (this was when my girlfriend lived in Witchia), that was crazy ice!

So we had a pretty major winter storm here in New England last night. It's been crazy weather. Last weekend the temps were in the 10's and 20's, earlier this week they were almost 60 with one storm. Temps dropped back down with this storm that just passed over us, giving a good chunk of New England one of the worst Ice Storms in recent history. Apparently much of the area is without power, although we're lucky and still have it. Here's some photos from this morning. I'll say this: ice is dangerous but it sure looks pretty.
