Here, to avoid confusion for anyone else, it's now quoted. One more thing, your arguement about saving $40 or so a month is pretty weak. If you're that strapped for cash, you would buy a gently used or certified used car and save yourself even more money. And hell yes I'd pay extra, because when I do buy new, which is a big investment, I sure as hell won't "settle" or cheap out so I can save a few bucks. My standards for a new car are high because I don't want to spend tens of thousands on a pentaly box that will remind me every day that it is what it is.

That's the beauty of buying a used car. if a power window breaks, you can spend $15-$25 to fix it yourself.
