Up Close and Personal with the All-New 2008 Malibu
You'd have to be visually impaired and/or mentally challenged to even consider the old car.

I need your opinions about this dashboard.
Now this I like, although the design itself I'm not that crazy over. I'd like to know why PCS wants to know this?

Can't help you with the carb, but in reference to your battery problem, I have a couple of suggestions. Try jumping it with another vehicle, if it starts right up, then stalls right or shortly after the jumper cable is removed, try checking teh wiring that connects the battery to the alternator. That was the problem I had with my car. I originally thought it was the alternator but it turned out to be a wire.

Another glowing Malibu review!!
OMG T3H CRAPPY AMERICAN CAR GOT A BETTETR REVIEW THAN T3H STUPER DUPER JAPANESE APPLIANCE!!!11 OH T3H HUMANITY, OH T3H BIAS!!!!!11111 FYI the Accord's rear window/C-pillar is hardly unique, just ask BMW. Edit: There are definitely some factual errors, with the article, like this one: I thought this was the case too, but I learned that the Passat can be equipped with a 4 banger/6-speed combo. Sure it's on the upper end of the midsize segment but it still is a midsizer.

Chrysler to cut numerous model
The problem is that it required heavy incentives to get the Commanders to sell. I like the Commander, it's a real Jeep, but I just don't think there's room in the amrket for it. Although I'd rather seen the Caliber knockoffs die first.

The First Church of Camaro
Hilarious and awesome. That's a religion I could get behind

Wood looks horrid. The color choices are nice though. The overall design feels vary dated and lacks harmony.

Is your mechanic cheating?
Disgraceful. I hope they go out of business.

Well, at least Alternators can be had on the cheap if you can find a junkyard that has them. Also, I'm sure it's 1000x easier to replace than it would be on my car. (Jack car up, remove lower splash shield, partially remove radiator brace.)

Autoblog First Drive: 08 Malibu
Wow it looks really good in those photos...the rear end has grown on me...the car is very attractive overall.

If it is the choke, then maybe running a cable to the carb from inside that can force it to stay open while the car is cold may help until you can get a new one ore rebuild it. I can take a photo and show you how it's set up on the Caravan if you want.

Sometimes I wonder
Unfortunately I don't see those desires of yours appearing in any product anytime in the future. The market has simply moved away from bench seats, column shifters, floaty ride, and so on. It is too bad that they don't really offer something for buyers like you, because there is a market for it, but I'm willing to bet that its small and shrinking so they don't feel there's a point to it, which is ashame. For me, there is: Camaro CTS Sierra Sky 9-3 Corvette G8 Lambdas

Maybach 62 Landaulet
Cool concept applied to an ugly car. I have never liked the Maybach...looks like an uglier Mercedes and doesn't feel special like a Bentley or Rolls Royce.

2008 GM Best Interior
This is a joke right? The CTS of course.

I can easily understand why you'd defend your car, it's yours. I'll defend to death my car, and we all know how many people like taking cheap shots at its manufacturer. Sure I've given you a hard time with it sometimes, it it is a nice car overall. :AH-HA_wink: Anyway, I can name two junkyards that would have the part you seek in my area. If you are interested I can find the prices of the Distributor. It'll cost a lot less to ship than from Florida

Ah, didn't see that. I still don't think MB went far enough with new C-Class.

What does your Desktop look like?
Thanks I felt it was time for a new desktop since I've had the Camaro up for a while. i came across this awesome photo of the Charger and last night I decided t make a wallpaper out of it. If you'd like, I can make give you it in any size you'd like.

I don't think the Mercedes even can be picked for its quality since every car besides the G35 has that down too. In fact... I mean, the C-Class excels at nothing. The only reason to buy one is if you like the styling or if you just gotta have a Benz.

Edmunds Compares CTS with Others
Who can spot the typo? Anyway, they didn't bash the CTS in any way, they just felt it was slow due to its size. The problem is that while it's sized to fight the 5-series, it is the entry level Caddy, so it competes with the smaller entry level cars. This is why Cadillac needs a smaller model. I have to take some issue with the results. I understand that the G35 is sporty and represents value, but since when a cheap interior that doesn't feel special cut it in the luxury segment? The CTS is roomier has a far nicer interior, and is a balanced overall vehicle. The BMW baffles me how they can love that basic, and rather ugly looking interior, even if the materials are top notch. One more thing, is that the G35's engine is as good as it gets, while the others offer more powerful drivetrains. I have to laugh at the MB for finishing dead last when it's all new.
