  1. When I was looking for a new car there was an `02 Stratus at the same place the Intrepid was. I test drove it...the breaks were kinda mushy, the gas pedal was ok, but the steering was light and totally devoid of feel. And that interior... It's bland The center stack is ugly The gauge shield is uglier There were various squeaks The seats were not that great. The door panels were made from super cheap plastic that flexed when pressed lightly, and wit was slightly warped. I liked the `97 Breeze's interior I sat in the week before better (that was the cleanest used car I've ever seen). All the second gen cloud cars had going for them was the exterior.Contrast with the Intrepid: Much nicer and more elegant interior design Graceful exterior Smooth sounding engine Very nice interior materials (lots of soft touch goodness) Quality plastics Awesome stereo (it has the CD and cassette player, and 6 speakers) Roomy Comfortable Better color choices Better break feel and gas pedal feel Much nicer steering weighting and feedback Well tuned suspension (comfortable but not floaty, manages body roll very well). Is it me or does it seem Chrysler knows how to build excellent large cars but have a hard time getting the midsize formula right?
  2. What do you drive now?
  3. SOAD is awesome... Chop Suey! Cigaro = pwnage
  4. That dead animal he passes off as hair. Hey turbo, croc...why but the two of you bitch and argue in every thread and get them locked? You both don't like him and yet still you find something to argue about.
  5. $2.23 here
  6. That sounds pretty damned cool. I wonder if I'd have money by June
  7. Sounds like my Shadow...engine light never goes off, but I'm too lazy to replace the computer...if it stays on constantly (instead of blinking) then I know there's a problem. But hey, it's 18 years old now...what's Toyota's excuse?
  8. 1994 Dodge Ram
  9. There's no way all a massive number of first gen cloud cars simultaneously experienced fuel pump failures. Hope you get your car back soon man....I almost bought a Breeze...but the Intrepid was 800 less and I like it more
  10. Lets see: Ugly Cramped Overpriced What's to like? If I want something impractical and RWD I'll take a Sky.
  11. Ford hasn't turned around yet... -- Dodge Caravan Ford Taurus
  12. Welcome to Cheers and Gears!
  13. K-car for the win!
  14. So you believe it's OK to let them import and much as they want but the domestics can't do vise vera?
  15. This one is awesome, but I would need it 1440 x 900
  16. The Patriot is fine...it's not the greatest design Jeep has ever come up with, but it's way better than the Compass. I've seen them before...I just can't warm up to the styling.
  17. It ahppened again today...several times.
  18. LOL It is! But I'd take the Chrysler...I think it looks better...anyway the Malibu mops the floor with this thing. I like the Captiva, but in the American lineup it would look too much like the Vue, and people would bitch about it being badge engineering.
  19. Surprising indeed. I still hate it...I think it looks ugly...especially compared to the original concept.
  20. Well I wanted to enter something, but I'm not sure what really needed to be fixed on this car...the design is damned good as is (except the rear, but someone already did a tail lights chop I liked (I think it was NOS). So here's what I came up with: Many of the changes are subtle...see if you can find them!
  21. I think it gives it a stance, which looks good.
  22. It's been very icy here...no trees down but lots of spinouts (and a Quest going sideways down the hill). Entertaining for sure.
  23. Ew...destroyed the car.
