  1. I am sure he would fit in a CTS or XTS far better than that Buick. Course non of us Shreks really fit into any car, just keep us in our Full Size SUV's. XTS wouldn't be any better..it's just as tiny as the LaCrosse...short wheelbase, narrow. XTS has 4" MORE front legroom than an s-class. It has 5" LESS hip room than the s-, but this dimension depends entirely on console width, which this stat never states. However, XTS certainly isn't, overall, "tiny" inside.
  2. IF a 3-tailgated bed was properly engineered & functional, that would be pretty awesome.
  3. C'mon- that's totally a joke. Someone welded up some junk pieces.
  4. I would agree 100% on the Ram above- love it.
  5. Yes they do. I'm convinced I'd have mice in my house garage, but we have an outside cat that shows up twice a day to tie on the feed bag, and assuredly his scent keeps them out. I would feel pretty bad if I didn't go out to my shop for 4 days and the cat in there was dead because of that, tho. Think I'll go out there right now and get something done.
  6. Consensus is bounce sheets don't work well. Many have found mice sh!t on them, or torn to make nests. Same disappointing result with moth balls. Peppermint oil is supposed to be pretty good, tho. Best bet is to prevent them getting in, after that I'd look into one of the bucket traps- I've had good success with that one. I don't want to scrap the Hemi's, but I've advertised them numerous times over the 6 yrs I've had them, and I still have 90% of the parts.

Not seeing ANY resemblance w/ the nissan.
  8. If you throw your preconceived notions out the window, the DOHC arrangement sure looks like a decades-old precursor to the IBC motor; all spread out with long bicycle-style chains before they found a way to make it more compact.
  9. Define 'M-B cars'. They also have 5-6 times as many models, don't forget.
  10. While I was off looking, WMJ seems to have nailed it. The emblem certainly called Rolls to mind, I was trying to find out if either early RR used an 'R' emblem, or if prior to RR, when it was just Royce, if that was their emblem. Royce & Rolls joined in 1906, but from the few decent pics I can find, it seems the 'RR' emblem was used from that point on. This car is not pre-'06. I suspect the modeler simplified the logo here on this 1910 for legibility perhaps. Weird.

I saw an XTS on the road the other day. The narrowness (we were opposite each other at a light waiting for green) did not strike me in person, even tho I feel most all cars are too narrow currently. Didn't get a great rear look after we passed, other that in the mirror.
  12. Saw my first XTS today. Came around a rural road corner to an intersection, a black Platinum was waiting at the light. Definitely catches your eye, looked really upscale.
  13. Maybe a single truck isn't quite enough for you : http://cnj.craigslist.org/cto/3104248799.html
  14. I dunno Camino; pic 5 is pretty compelling! http://cnj.craigslis...3199165537.html
  15. WRT diesels, don't forget mercedes has a LARGE contingency of HD trucks, garbage scows, buses, etc - not by a LONG shot does all that money go towards their mainstream sedans.
  16. interior is too nice/ original to be 100K. And the sticker would be dust.
  17. They DO pay V-Series money for it in the Corvette.
  18. A million years ago I saw a burgandy Buick Skylark version of this, notable ONLY because it had 2 doors on one side, and 1 on the other. I don't know either.
  19. You'd think 30 MILLION recalled toyotas & lexuses would have turned the tide already.
  20. you must use pre-cast pads too, no?
  21. Done a bunch here, 2bbls & 4bbls (Holley, Rochester, Carter). I'd give DF an 'in' in the Carb Club based on his quantity there.
  22. ^ You mean outside the form? No precautions, I'm pretty neat. I say "pour" tho in reality I am slinging it in there & working it with a trowel of sorts, like the one on the far left: Any blobs won't stick- too small and the existing floor is really too glass-smooth. I'm not obsessing if I get a lil here or there, either way.
