the tigers are a little streaky. and the nl series is gonna take a little longer so they might ice up a little. and rogers is finally helping a team in the post season. i wouldnt count on it much longer. should be a good series no matter what or who. the crowds for all three teams sound really amped.

not for nothing but the aztec hardly even looks out of place any more. as far as the tl goes not even that great honda quality is enough for it to sell so obviously people with that kind of cash are looking for something a little more when theyre dropping those bills.

itd be a shame if it was a bad deal that fell GM. or contract negotiations or board room antics. the problem with farago he barks at every press release. theres no set time for death watch series, its when hes bored and hears about something that happened. looking for a scapegoat is his job, the current management will of course bare the brunt but are responsible for making the turnaround work no matter what. why they wound up with basically an 11 month sales year this year is an interesting move. i also happen to think the next model year cars and upcoming entries will be enough to at least stop the market share bleed and maybe even increase it in the coming years. probably by the time the next ceo takes charge. kekorkian will hopefully not sabotage it from the inside with bs.

i never cared for that term, crossover. aside from the fact its too close to roll over it does a lousy job of explaining the platform.
-
is there a minimum characters in topic question, too? im kidding, i have absolutely no idea. you left out the "r" in search pretty clever.
-
i never got that one either. the dodgers i can somewhat understand as they had a meaningful rivalry. i only know a few friends parents who kept up with them after the move, many gave up on baseball altogether but a lot became mets fans too eventually. but i still dont fully understand that chip. the yanks also have the most fans outside of ny. some games i forget theyre playing away. not in detroit though. what a crowd they have there.

thats not an ss aveo, is it?

it looks like a g*d@mned armadillo! how can you tell a blessed thing about it. although i do understand the caddy comments, something about it...but it looks like it could be a honda crx, too. really nice camo...hmmm what could they be hiding...

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=con...id=aY5bU7yKNHUU not the best news at the best time. converesely consumer confidence in the U.S. is up, and gas prices have been down. i dont want to be overly optimistic but things may start to level off. these new cars and trucks cant get here soon enough especially if cadillaccts accounts are anywhere near the ballpark. until then it looks like it will be the 900s and saturns picking up the slack instead of depending on european sales to counteract the domestic markets slides. so how exactly were gm and renault going to help eachother? that was the plan, no?

my condolences.

when did you teach your ass how to type? opinions are one thing but honestly how do you get from a to b on this one. im thinking toyota only builds hybrids for reputation and it seems to be working wonders for them. so whos the idiot? see GM builds hybrid buses, then lets see whats what. honestly, for the better good, a mass trans system that hauls 50-60-70? people at once or a 4 seat prius. whats truly better for the environment if anyone is that concerned? farago writes these things like he has a pole up his ass. hes cranky and bitter, and only finds the negative or cons. he never acknowledges the good that exists. albeit there might not be tons of it but hes the most guilty of being shortsided, as if vol. 95 in a series called deathwatch doesnt give it away. talk about standing over someones shoulder. im guessing he took a large hit when the stocks tumbled, like many others and it cant be fixed soon enough. he seems unfamiliar with compromise. the happy medium that exists for most deals and the aliance that clearly wasnt in any one but carlos and nissans best interest has nothing to say. hes siding with capt kirk for some unknown reason and continues to libel wagonner and extol kirkorian as if hes the saint who will save gm. how can this even remotely beging to be described as objective journalism. and if its his opinions, i think they stink but hes certainly entitled to them. but this i dont understand: why should it?

most mets fans, and former dodger fans will root for any team the yankees are playing. the guy next door hung a red sox penant up if thats any indication. yankee pitcher cory lidle traded to the angels--headline from some met fan. on a side note if the yankees won one more, cory lidle is still alive but wasnt meant to be--congrats to the tigers, they definately look good and if they and the mets make it, should be a good series.

you should come to ny.

five pages later and 90+ replies i guess this is why they write a GM deathwatch.

hes got method to his madness, although at 90 it makes you wonder why still. fact is he wants to win this one somehow. if it means kicking screaming and hair pulling the whole way theres gotta be some big piece of cheese hes after. of course he probably needs to take this into account too:
-
he had a 4 seat cirrus sr20. next of kin hasnt even been notified and its all over the tv, at least here...feel horrible for his family... the mike and maddog chris russo had a rough time, as they admittedly gave him a hard time on their show. not always the best way to leave off with someone in an argument because you never know... more telling http://wfan.com/chrismikeaudio/ oct. 9th. cory lidle interview.
-
holy $h!. it was cory lidells plane. yankees pitcher, philly fans should know him too. and yes hes dead. it crashed into a building called the belair. wow. oddly enough he made some comments about yanks manager joe torre and was getting slammed by mike and the maddog sports radio talk show...and he was so upset actually called in to defend himself... what a weird f@#kin day this turned into. tragic. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15223650/

almost makes a case for the i-drive. well, almost.

http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/10/11/plane.crash/index.html how in the hell? reminds us that real human beings have to battle these fires in conditions few would dare set foot near. my heart(i think i still have one) stopped for almost a whole minute before it settled in this might really only be an accident. somehow, im still waiting for the other foot to drop.

Bob Lutz has a few things to say about it http://www.canada.com/nationalpost/financi...dea646c&k=13708

well what do you expect from a culture that brought us among other things bura-sera? id really like to know what those headlines say.

rosa parks was the first person to sit in the front of a silverado. iditots! seriously, if you know what rosa parks looks like you shouldnt have any trouble with this one. its the 80% that are saying "whats aunt jemimah in the chevy commercial for?" you should be worried about. its American history. standing up for what you believe. she took the most simple basic act of "defiance" and let it ring in the ears of everyone else who was afraid to take a stand for what they believe or what was right and made changes. how that ties into an ad for a truck im not exactly sure. chevy trucks do ok already. i think it may be over reaching a tad but nonetheless, it shouldnt make you not want to buy something. im sure the whole ad is more meaningful. and might i say its a pretty damn good looking truck to boot.
-
just the fact that those cars can be engineered for left or right hand drive with not so much changes leads me to believe that the first inclination is not driver ease. HUD love it or leave it is the way to go. this isnt an attempt to one up that. its not an improvement otherwise or in any other context, in my opinion of course.
