i think its really something the way dcx advertisizes and the way in which vw does. two completely different aproaches.

really, generally i like to give the benefit of the doubt but this is ridiculous at this point now. this just aint right.

this is basically the japanese equivalent to the enquirer or weekly world news. i took a few classes in japanese and im a little rusty but the translation goes something like pointy ear cat dog mates with happy gigantic fish to produce lucky new super terrific toyota tundra. you dont want to know what that guy is holding. if toyota starts to push these trucks enough-- all the "friends" they made with the yaris' and prius are going to realize these trucks suck just as much gas and more than the competition. and if the sequoia is as big and thirsty as it appears to be, they will have the best and worst on mpg. not as beneficent and hardly as environmentally concerned as theyd like us to believe. but those are the breaks when you have to be in every segment to take over the world. its a double edged sword and it sounds like they were thinking about trying to pull it out.

i almost once ran an 05 x5 into a parked car. he snuck up on the right side of me at a light and thought hed just blow by me when it changed. well let me tell you my 92 bonneville with the series 1 3800 told him otherwise. he kinda gave me the props when i looked over. i dont know what that proves, if anything but anything more than 5, maybe 6 isnt all that necessary. what i want to see is actual data and facts that demonstrate the improvements in performance, or the better mpg or something. im sure the info is out there. personally, i think its a waste of resources and development. besides they could have just taken the name so somene else wil have to name it something that sounds a little more stupid. or less meaningful.

the guys a vulture and im sure hes only waiting to release the hounds...he treats business like a repo man. the problem for him, gm is a little healthier than he thought. by healthier i mean not withering away with the bones showing. they got offered a sucker deal, hardly any return on the investment and decided it wasnt in their, or their stockholders best interest. he wants to call the shots, probably would have made a boatload of cash and 5-10 yrs down the road GM winds up royally screwed. thats my take on it from the statements... rest assured hes gearing up for something new. sadly this probably really is only the beginning.

this guy gets a hard on just knowing the stock will rise if he says boo and drop when he sees peep. clearly, he wanted the best for gm and this proves he only had their best intentions in his heart. stock is still a buy. theres gonna be a lot more to this story, and can only wonder what carlos really had in mind that the board told him to hit the road jack.

its painful to watch those people speak. so closed off and full of mis and disinformation. as an offshoot to a major religion its not hard to imagine the kind of wackjob that started it, and as you say, continues to infect and poison peoples minds... blu- i was just speculating. no one understands gods will and cant explain it. its just accepted. some rationalize it though. either they were wicked, or the it could be a test of the parents strength, or as a reminder of the evils of the "outside" world...i think most realize it was just some sick son of a bitch who preyed on an easy target probably because girls gave him a hard time while he was growing up and never adjusted...or is sick in some other way physically or mentally... and just for your consideration, those attention seeking nutbars who are exploiting this whole situation thought that the guy was doing those girls a favor. yeah, you believe that $h!? he saved them from the pain of this life, and helped them avoid growing up to be whores and outcasts so when he killed them they wont be subjected to the hottest parts of hell... someone did a good job of scaring the $h! out of those people.

you somehow strike me as the type of salesperson who isnt concerned with truth/truths. its funny though how your defiant rebel attitude as you stuck it to the board during a shareholders meeting is only looked back upon by people as "that jackass who was carted off by security" hardly a heroic. more of an embarrassment. im almost embarrassed for you because you lack humility and shame, but that would probably mean i care too much, and lets be honest...i just dont have it in me to care that much. your a few acts short of sabotage before proving how bad off gm is. the turnaround goes forward with you kicking and screaming like a spoiled brat and what do we do when children are throwing a fit? we stop paying attention.

id like to think the tide is turning. i hear where you are coming from but things are gonna change. either someone else drops the ball and f's up or because the restructuring may evolve into something more meaningful. an American revolution? it could happen. not only have vehicles improved,-- be it marginally on some or really obvious and welcome, even grandios on others --toyota is only a couple of major recalls or setbacks away from really having a resonant effect in the minds of shoppers. these things add up. theyll f8ck up just like everyone else. either the same ways gm did--arguably happening or in some new and exciting ways...stay tuned questions will become more pronounced and lets be real honest...its damn near impossible to keep up quality control at these levels. just sheer math is gonna bite you on the ass. ive been saying that forever, and many others probably too. they can do it on their own but things are gonna shake up no matter what. might even be something as stupid as hydrogen. hey, thats what makes it interesting.

its on the internet. it must be true. ol reliable internet... forget that though its all hoopla and probably a rigged up truck. maybe not rigged, but...prepared. they do wonderful things with just a little chip and some reprogramming of the computer. essentially still stock...it does sound like a wonderful story. like paul bunyon.

i find it amazing how the parents have basically forgiven and forgotten already. no time to grieve or be upset just...god's will i suppose without the slightest sense of resentment. and so soon is what gets me. i just wonder if they think theyre children were evil or wicked and thats why they were smitten? or (smote)?

two years? that seems like an awfully long time to bring a car dealership into the top ten. i wouldve have cracked the top 5 in 3 weeks. two years? and you dont even have to think about things like exchange rates and international exportation logistics, taxes, or fees. they should have fired you a long time ago. thats an eternity.

those were called holiday sales. hardly the same extravaganzas we saw last summer. only dc went down that road this year and you see where it got them. for all the hype from toyota esp with regards to sales they only sold a couple thousand more. hardly worth it but they got plenty of cash to d*ck around with. gm is swallowing some bitter pills right now. increasing value and changing perceptions comes at a cost. and will later reap the benefits. rather than vice versa which was basically the attitude from the 70's until now. there are plans for the future, pardon everyone else if you cant quite see them yet. mobilization of a company this large to coordinate a global effort and squeeze every ounce of profitibility and efficiency takes some time and effort...we should wonder why it took this long in the first place. and to blame the current management now makes zero sense. these problems were sewn many many years ago. the middle east was just fine and dandy. too before gw got there, right? (hard to believe, but its not entirely his fault)

it is a lot of bs in a way. as usual the percent arguments are misleading and only showing a slanted view of what seems to be the actual trends. huge sales all summer long, too but toyota firesales arent called fire sales, theyre golden opportunity events. their rebates and incentives are known as consumer apreciation awards. i saw a never ending parade of toyota truck commercials this summer. nice to have a roll. i wonder if they are truly happy with this months sales.

honda no. not yet. just the sheer size of toyota leaves ford as a sitting duck. i really cant say im all that surprised. theyd be fine with just one or two real solid hits. and thats it but they cant even seem to get that right.

chill dude. it wasnt bad, id take out a little cymbol on the first track, esp when it splits to stereo. the second song wasnt bad at all, showed some good parts and writing. also sounds like to me you guys need to get a better feel jamming together. it takes time and you can probably wind up doing pretty decent. myspace is one of the best things to happen for BANDS. not exactly my style but ive played in many a different band... you recorded this live, no? or on single tracks.

id like to thank bob lutz and and all of gm for possibly alluding to a brighter future for pontiac. well see come detroit but after what some of the above have speculated it could be a hell of a time to be a pontiac fan. if any person gets it its lutz. hes been around long enough and seen enough and has pretty damned good sense and taste to boot so i have no doubt the future products will be anything less than spectacular. they really almost have to be and i think they know that, and i think thats a good thing (for us) besides how can you have cars like the camaro running around with some plain jane pontiacs next to it.
