yeah, thats great and all but audi never won the 24 hr 6x in a row. bentley speed 8 won in ought 3 id guess someone was just having fun or showcasing their graphic design/advertising portfolio...sort of a phantasy spec ad.

let me be clear, i wasnt disparaging buicks. i also think they are fine automobiles. if we were in munich id say something like: Seines wie verkauf bms in München. i have no doubt youre a fine salesman and move plenty of product. but you are still hometeam and although i am reminded of a line from Grosse Point Blank when martins back home in michigan and says to his old girlfriend as shes getting into the bmw doesnt anybody buy American anymore... thats got to skew your perception to some degree. i dont necessarily believe that success in Flint would translate to national success.

Americans are considered wastelful but its actually places like china, india, and burgeoning 3rd world nations that use up most supplies and dont require the same standards of care concerning the environment. we are rather stringent in that regard.... thats where you are wrong....i think you my have missed my point and i think that the saudis wish they could take back that statement. the point being is there is not a true emergency at this time to get off oil. e85, hydrogen, solar, hydro-power, wind, nuclear...are all in place to stave off the oil addiction. they are wonderful in certain regards although each has its drawbacks. like everyhthing in this f*ing world.... every guy who drives a suburban or land cruiser should smile and wave when he sees a prius or insight driving by because now he knows when he goes to fill u his takn there will be plenty there--and at the right price. that was my point. we need alternatives and space out the supplies, even if they arent finite. there are people who sincerely believe global warming is not a man made phenomena. theyll say climate change is certain. the dinosaurs encountered some serious problems way back when and we know they werent puttering around in pintos and vegas arguing over who makes a more reliable car. im all for e85. i think it should be everywhere. it could only cause the price of oil to drop with decreased demand. especially since there really is so damn much of it around...i just wonder if the earth is gonna start to cave in one day, like a cupcake you suck the filling out of...hah.

i couldnt agree more. its a damn sports car people. lack of room and practicality! from a 2 seater??!!?! when did those words ever belong in the same sentence. i guess it comes down to the grass is greener. or something like that. you can tell it really hurt that guy to say he liked the pontiac better. oh and carbiz, i think chevy and gm in general may be a bit more particular in the way in which they name their cars after the nova. "no va" in spanish isnt the best name for a car...

it all depends on the market. commercials are tailored. the spanish speaking pontiac commercials are fantastic. and no, not the one from kimmel. i was watching the world cup on the spanish station so i could here the guy yel gooooooooooooooooooooool when a solstice commercial came on. this really hot girl was groping this guy standing next toi his solstice, or what looked like groping in reality just reaching for his keys so she could drive. i wouldnt take marketing lessons from the guy who sells buicks in detroit. or from a guy who bitches every chance he gets about things he knows not. but wont give up the ghost. ...or from someone with a newsletter that preaches his good word. and then uses testimonials to prove his point. this is not a guy with ideas, its a guy you see on tv at 2 am brainwashing people hwking cheap piece of crap that you knwo wont work but they make such a good presentation you cant help but listen. but i wouldnt pick up that phone ill tell ya what.

theres plenty of oil in the world. iran is sitting on about 200 years worth by itself. iraqs reserves, known reserves are in the hundreds of billions of barrels. maybe even giga barrels. thats known, and if its not a shock to anyone, those are low balled just to keep people interested and concerned and to keep a jittery price scheme in place. the more worthwhile the investment the more interested parties. up in canada theres dirty soil, or something to that affect. the oil is infused with the dirt and only recently has it become profitable enough to figure on a way to extract that oil. the gulf of mexico is loaded, too. oil seems to be limited by only in terms of having a finite life, and in places it can be found. . in other words non renewable. and its the eventually that will be the problem. the eventually is so far off though that no one truly knows. and if production and industrialization keep on increasing at the same pace with the same infrastructure and methods then the clock will tick faster. this is why it pays to do the research well in advance in a sense to slow the bleeding until more economical, practical and less ridiculed mechanization can be in place. wonder if the industrial revolution had concerns about coal running out? just for the sake of argument, if all the cars in the world were running on hydrogen with the only byproduct being harmless eater vapor, would cities like la, ny, etc suffer from perpetual rain fall? maybe over time, all that vapor harmlessly condensing and contributing to the water cycle? any ideas?

thats torque, baby. just like riding down an icy road, losing control and then just saying f@#k it. hit the gas. and thats what i like about the shot. its just at that point when you here those engines spool up and the thing just f@#king straightens out. and the next thing you know its away. off like a giant steel bird.. or aluminum.

i do believe honda is part of the consortium. maybe weigh the pros and cons of each system, eventually even perfecting the appropriate set up after trading notes? i dont know how these plans to take over the world work out...someones gotta benefit at the end of the day though.

about the time i heard of the new camaro concept i scoured the internet for as much info and pics i could come across. this site along with C&G and a couple others seemed to have the goods. C&G was the only place ive been interested in since (lucky you i guess) and rarely even check out the others anymore unless im really at my wits end or just insanely bored...its also the only place i "post" or anything like that across the internet anyway, yesterday was one such day and saw this; http://forums.streetfire.net/showthread.php?t=9596 dont know if it means anything but it was left hand drive and sporting the bowtie and ss. also a comment from the guy who took the pictures about being told to look for a 2 door version and the ute in the area...dont get your hopes up just yet, camino

http://www.lowermanhattan.info/constructio...r=0&sort_order= i wouldnt mind if they just rebuilt them, maybe just clean up the insides. less steel more concrete... i gotta say though these are growing on me, towers 2, 3, and 4. the photobook 1st one on the right is the most current. the empire st. building is one solid mother f*er. they still use most of the original generators in there and it already took a hit by a plane. (obviously much smaller, lghter, slower flying and less fuel....but even so. some think that construction would have saved more lives and withstood a better chance. heres to hoping we dont ever find out.

right. and when you look from the n.e. it will look like the middle finger pointing straight up. to all those that fell and those who carry on. never forget
-
i couldnt agree with you more about this. if i had flex fuel close by (or at all) you bet your ass i would use it. some people out there really see gas prices dropping even more. the only time gas priced rebounded last week was when a few scattered "problems" occurred at some refineries.

what do you guys care anyway? for all you know this guy was eating a cup of rice with a bucket full of rocks hanging from his neck for a few years. while i dont necessarly agree with the sentiment, i respect his pov no matter how outmoded or irrational it may seem. same goes for the german thing. time to move on. not to be too flippant about it. and i visited dachau and saw first hand the memorials and and musuems that document the attrocities that happened there and throughout europe. there are certain things you dont want to forget no matter how much youd like to. would it stop me from buying a certain car or give up tempura? what do you think -
cr called the xlr "elegant poser" but didnt fault the z06 all that much in this months issue. of course they still only recommend the lexus and nissan 350z

I suppose I should sell my BMW after reading this oh so enlightning thread. i think the majority of people could care less what you do with your car. there are some people who harbor resentment and personally will have nothing to do with it. some people wont buy bayer aspirin. all? no. some you bet yer ass. sometimes its nice to be reminded, but i think weve come a long way from blind hatre. we can bs about the bataan death march and torture of pows or the shooting of chinese prisoners by the japanese to train med staff, and weapons effectiveness. or go on about purposeful infection or my favorite vivisection, just to get an idea of how things worked. as far as arab and arab nations thats the problem with this war. the only common denominator is arab males between the ages of 17 and 40. and i wouldnt worry about afghanistan putting out the next camry beater. so its kinda moot. theyre busy building indoor ski resorts.
