http://money.cnn.com/2006/09/27/markets/oil_eia/index.htm gas prices continue to drop--maybe theres still some hope. but but then again: so if 60 is "good" why the hell was it almost 80? supposed to go over 100? are we making a difference in some way with ethanol, conservation, boycotts, and prius' and hybrids in general. or does this have more to do with the usual seasonal changes in demand. which really werent so usual since the past couple of years. ive heard several "analysts" suggest months ago oil and gas prices would plummet at some point. i remember laughing at the time because one of the qualifiers was when things settle down in the mid east. like thats ever likely to happen. but here we are in some strange way. so maybe there is hope.

an autostart espresso machine that runs by itself is one thing, no one is really gonna mind too much if it falters. a car that parks itself is just asking for trouble. what happens when it starts to get old or if god only knows what else interferes with something like that. a microwave? a shadow? theres not one electronic product i have that hasnt given me trouble at some point. but at what cost? are we trying to make ourselves as people--the human race feeble? whats going on here. why doesnt someone wake up and say what the hell do we need this for instead of praising it as some kind of cure for mankind....oh lordy jebus how in the hell did we ever park a car before now? there are some things that i dont want a computer to do for me. i bet if this was some sort of sex robot this guy would be thrilled because he didnt have to anything but push some buttons. in the literal sense. products like this wont bury detroit. this guy is a tw*t. a wanker. some tosser that is licking in all the wrong spots. im sorry i read it. i cant wait for the first " well it seems as if the auto park assist feature malfunctured and killed a family of four" story to appear. if this keeps up the next few generations are going to have the most muscular index fingers and thumbs and not much else. i saw a guy walk into traffic while playing his psp the other day. when will this stop? like people with lexii 4 whatevers drive themselves around anyway. and if they do an auto parking feature is one more reason why they shouldnt be. ok. im done now.

well no sh!t, sherlock. my point is if someone is saying fords cvt is better than their nissans, and i think its as exciting as an escalator, with no mpg perks whats the point? im sure there are some out there that are fine it just doesnt suit my tastes. and it has plenty of go it just mainly lacks the get up part. its not something that i dont think would ever feel comfortable trying to "push". and the constant drone. thanks, but no thanks

yes but the two are meeting again. maybe they have some sort of answers for the proposals or are just formally going to decline to proceed. i dont think theyre just gonna grab a cup of coffee and some eclairs.

the cvt has all the sxcitement of an escalator. im not a fan of it all in the 500. i cant imagine it being better or said to be better than a nissan. im so glad i got my bonne back. as far as the mileage it pretty much sucks. nothing special at all.

somethihng about that just reminds me of the uplander.

top gear wont be on for a while. hammond was involved in a wreck with a jet powered car going 300 mph. he can barely speak or walk and there is a large investigation going on. the show is off indefinately, but im sure will return at some time just not sure when that is.

correct me if im wrong, but i recall not too long ago gm decided to cut its advertising budget and decided to allot much of what was left to pay for saturns launch vehicles. unregardless, the commercials and the "viral" campaign thing of late have been outstanding, in my opinion. The cadillac ads, and the chevy ads touting the mpg with the cobalt and the impala at the gas station... the hummer ads are kind of weak minus the ones with the magician. those are just so bad i have to laugh a little... its brave new world out their and traditional methods jsut dont cut it any longer. i guess they are spending their money a little more wisely now.

its saturn g*d!mn it. no "i". please make a note. :AH-HA_wink: if you really need the "i" in there try "satruin". please. i have no probs with you but every time i see saturn spelled liked that i get a little crazier.... im really just kidding around, but i think the emphasis placed on saturn goes back to the "mispoken" words about the damaged brands of pontiac and buick. its easier to reinvent saturn than any other gm product without creating another new division. sure, the original saturns didnt win many over, especially people who bought them. i know a few. pontiac and buick have even larger hurdles to overcome. whether you belive it or not, or even like it or not. i dont on either count...but in the whole scheme of things saturn has the best shot at winning over new customers. i truly believe that. they werent around long enough to offend as many people as buick and pontiacs....again, i like both brands, esp pontiac and it doesnt necessarily represent my personal feelings. as far as the aura goes, i like what theyve done in principle. i think they have a genuine opportunity to win some new market share with their revamped image. its gonna get interesting. i really think they (GM) are trying to do right by us as consumers--and in turn for them as a whole.

after looking at the picture i think it was built that way. the door looks closed its just that it looks as if the line continues from the passenger side. not the drivers. it looks strange to me it looks like it has an "occular" look to it. i dont like it and i think it will be dated soon. edit: and theres way too many g"d^amn*d buttons and markings. i think theyre trying way too hard now.

i guess the only other concern would be that it shares a name with a minivan from hyundai. it probably would give a better impression in "real life" the back end looks like it would be nicely defined.
