  1. okay the hints that i can find... body color mirrors... its got euro headlights... its got ground effects, so likely some sort of sports car, or rice... its an asian car, due to the window sprayers on the hood...
  2. i'm going with a nissan sentra
  3. well... thats the predicted fuel ecconomy, it might prove otherwise depending on driving...i know AFM has much higher potential for fuel ecconomy then without... on the 8 cyl the fuel ecconomy increases such from 12-15% and they are predicting only 8% on new impalas? well i think other fuel advancements are in line as well... with direct injection allowing at least another 15% in power ought to bring another couple of mpg, and with that allows the afm to work more often being more productive... as for the longevity, the only real difference is the lifters... as for how it works, when the oil pressure is high, the engine knows it has to work hard, but when the oil pressure relaxes to lower psi, half of the lifters colapse, so the piston goes up and down but the intake valves dont open... i believe gm has been using this technology for quite some time, its just they havent marketed it, nor have they activated it... because iirc all afm have limp home mode, in which if the radiator is out of water, one could continue to drive, while the engine uses half power, and pumps air with the other cylinders to pump out the heat... i remember hearing about a GM guy who drove from death vally all the way to los angeles without any coolant, i think in a monte or an impala... did it on porpose, but every 10-15 minutes he'd have to pull over for a little while to let her cool down, but on a 120* day... with no coolant... biggups to GM...
  4. yea i heard the same... by 2008, all the full size stuff should be 6 speeds
  5. we focus on the largest growing comunity... hispanics...heck everyone at the dealership is bilingual, and i'm getting there...
  6. probably because the way the AFM works... it makes the lifters heavier... so more internal weight... less power...
  7. link to article
  8. they are pretty small already, but all you need is one glimpse of a certain headlight or the way a few panels line up and you got yourself an answer... tough shot tho, the square i used, i first thought it was a tail light, then i realized it was a headlight thats why i agreed with Toni about the Camry instead of the ES
  9. but you know some jerk out there without any rubber on his tires will be complaining about getting 12-13 mpg when the thing never sees idle...
  10. yea, they nit and pick things... like if they want to complain about 13-19 mpg on a LUXUARY vehicle... perhaps they should look to the 13-17 Nissan Armada... and complain about that? most sedans or sports cars with 403 hp dont get 19mpg... my friend has a 7 series BMW... and says he gets around 10 combined.... another friend has an SL55... gets 14 mpg, 90% highway... need i continue?

  13. lexus gs?
  14. that transmission... that 6L80 is it? is that a derivitive at all off of the allyson? and its the same as the corvette correct?
  15. remember the challenger isnt even supposed to hit that many... the production at that plant is already over 120% if i remember correctly... and all challengers, if produced would be equipt with v8's and 6 speeds... its not designed to be a volume car like the camaro is...
  16. dont forget... the camaro is designed to be 100+k units a year the challenger... 6k a year
  17. give it to the colorodo too... i would love to see a 200+ hp compact truck that could see at least 30mpg on deisel...
  18. both the x and Y generations are lost generations... we are all over educated and under acheviers... i remember reading something regaurding advertisement, and the generation X&Y both know when they are being sold to... so typical advertisement that works on baby boomers has no effect to us... i know i'm over educated, and definatly an underacheiver...
  19. they dont make em like that any more... i remeber i took one of my old toyota pickups and got a nice jump out of it... probably got 5 feet of air, pretty fun and scary at the same time... (didnt mean to do it) and part of the damn radiator fell out of the truck
  20. i wonder if they factory tested my old T100, that blew a head gasket... and left me on the side of the road for 5 hours... or what about that recall on the steering? wwas that factory tested too?
  21. those look good compared to the polished alluminum... but you should see the polished aluminum with an aftermarket chrome job... its beautiful
  22. is that what it is... looks weird, not necesarily bad, just need to see it in person... looks like a mixture of sweade and piano black
