i remember the last time i heard you speak like this... a certain car got leaked... and i agree with you, it was much better in person then any photo could depict
  4. there is a considerable amount of literature but politically its never addressed... and i think the next USA president needs to have a little concern for amercian companies... because we arent playing with even waters in this global world...
  5. i agree... a tanklike coupe would be a great seller
  6. i never realized what kind of dents get left from just leaning onto the cars, we have a guy at the dealership that once a week pushes out all the dents left from leaning on cars, some of them are from the sales personel, and some are from prior owners... but... its amazing... never realized... with these flexible panels these days it seems okay.. but they leave dents...
  7. am i happy... no... its been quite a while since i've considered myself to be happy, i've been depressed for many years, sucidal before that... i'd say anyone in my possition right now would be the happiest person in the world... but to me, i have nothing worth anything... haha i guess a henry ford quote comes to mind "Think you can, think you can't; either way, you'll be right. -- Henry Ford " some people say i've got a split personality... so some days i'm the happiest guy in the world, sometimes i feel like the lonliest... i guess, its been a lot of things, had a great childhood, or so it seemed, then one day it was all taken away, all at once, and i've been miserable ever since... haha, my sister went to college, and a few months later in the same day both my grandfathers died, a few months later my dad sold his yacht that i loved spending time with him... things got pretty discomboulated for me, then i fell in love, and ditched my best friend for the girl of my dreams... so i lost my best friend, then i lost the girl, then i had no one, and it maintained that way for 4 years... and durring that time my grandmother died, and my uncle a year later died... then one day, i started to hang out, it wasnt quite the same as it was when we were kids, but... hes my best and only friend... hes like a brother to me, and im the brother he never had. recently his mom just died... but things are starting to look up... hopefully things start getting better, we just got back from hawaii and i had the best time of my life!
  8. well... i believe stablitrac is standard on all GMT900 models... so that ahanilates hyundias numbers i'm quite positive...
  9. yea... i already told my mom, that Toyota had some recalls on their windows, i was merly refering the the 05 tc scion.. haha she thought twice about that it might not had been her husbands/my dads fault

is it possible that this is the front end of the HD models, and the regular model will be identical to the tahoes? i mean... they obviously know the tahoe facia works... all the plastics work... they dont break, but what if this was just a Z71 model with a different front grill...? or could this be just the Z71 model? they said the avalanche would get a Z71... perhaps this front facia is just a representation of that?
  11. so well i just got back from hawaii... but my mom tells me that while i was gone, my dad goes to wash his toyota tundra, i guess it was a pretty hot day, and as he sprayed down the front windsheild it cracks from one corner to the next... so they get it replaced.... without taking it to the dealership to replace, 29k miles...
  12. yea i think i'm with that... the more i see this thing the more i cant wait to have the keys in my hand...
  13. toyota changes the name of its lowest car every 4-5 years because it has a bad following...
  14. lol at the ride and drive here in hollywood, we got to watch a 2x4 tahoe get better traction through a road course then the 4x4 sequioa, and better then the expidition it gets better fuel ecconomy, smoother ride, better interior, better exterior, better performance, better capablities, i believe a better towing, more comfort, we'll see about reliablity, but really only thing new is the chassis and that never has problems, its always drivetrain and thats basically the same from last year except afm
  15. lol i doubt it... camrys are extremely expensive to maintain... and i know they wont see 60k miles without a trip to service or two... i know all toyotas my family has ever had, have seen service durring their warranty period, and afterwards as well... also their fuel ecconomy makes the long term reliablity suffer... making something more efficent generally strains the components making them last less in longevity. this is why my dad never buys an 'energy star' refriderator or freezer...
  16. i'm not saying it would be cheaper to revive a brand, i'm saying it might be a bad idea to have a vehicle that is equated to poor quality such as many of the geo's and give the entire brand of chevrolet a bad perception... there is much at stake my dad will never purchase a chevy product because of the bad experiance he had with a chevette... so... where does that leave GM, one product ruined a future customer?
  17. omg those pictures are awesome! interior looks nice, i dont like the gauges... seems like they'd be hard to read... but the dash is simple, which i like also those tires looked like they've seen their share of miles haha, looks like the good years are ready for replacement
  18. possibly the aveo would be too expensive if it was brought up to chevys standards.. this is our problem... and with the chinese brands around the corner will chevrolet see an even cheaper model then the aveo from GM shanghi? will toyota & GM get cought off their feet similar to GM and Ford in the 70's and 80's? with the cheaper asian vehicles?
  19. what the hell does consumer reports smoke... the armada has the worst fuel ecconomy i've ever seen... 13-17 mpg? and the sequioa isnt much better at like 14-18 i think? Sequioa according to toyota.com "Mileage Estimates (mpg city/highway) [8] 2WD 15/18 4WD 15/17 " and the sequioa has never won any kind of long term dependablity, that has always been won by the suburban or tahoe according to JDP&A vrs i see no comparason... the tahoe is soo clean so fit
  20. the sequoia doesnt even compare to the GMT800's why would they try to compare it to the new ones? Quality, reliablity, power, & efficency... i guess the only bad thing about the Tahoes and Escalades, they dont have Toyota badges...
  21. is this the writting on the wall?
  22. i just had a customer yesterday, running around on an early 90's 3/4 ton 350 with 390k miles... i asked original motor, hes all yea, but shes starting to get tired. i asked original tranny, yea whats left of her...
  23. i've heard the GT's going for as much as 300k... almost double the sticker...
  24. until they have idled plants... then u throw all your profits down the tube...
  25. yea... they left it open for a middle one... because as it started... it says, 20 years ago... 10 years ago... and in the near future... but it doesnt talk about now... also it lined up for magneto... but... i was shocked to see what jean do... but anyhow i was kind of expecting more plot... to me the 3rd one seemed to be a little more unrealistic, although we are talking about mutants, they all just seemed to be invincible in this movie... wish i got to see a bit more, weakness... because the definition of a hero is "A person noted for feats of courage or nobility of purpose, especially one who has risked or sacrificed his or her life" and while they all did heroic activities none of them really risked their lives... except logan & the professor but we all know logans healing abilitys...
