Ideas for Quick Cash?
Hmm....might I suggest a Getrag-equipped Cavalier Z24? I'm sure you can get one of those for whatever you've got in your pocket and keep the Camaro. If you're lucky enough to find one from 2002, it'll have the Ecotec in it, and not have the ugly as sin schnoz on it.

Ideas for Quick Cash?
Good idea. That GP would have to be in pristine condition to even consider it, and a car that old probably isn't. Depending on the mileage, I don't think I'd give the guy more than $3500. So, why the decision to part with the Camaro?

Find Your Style
Vue was my main selection, with Torrent, Avalanche, Rendezvous, Canyon, and H3 being my alternate selections. GM...what did I ever do to you?

Uh Oh... I've Done It Now
Well, I can't speak for your intentions, but it sounds like there's a stark disconnect between what you meant to say, how you conveyed it, and how it was interpreted. Words on a computer screen have no emotion, so extra care should be taken when writing them because it's very easy for someone to take them the wrong way.

Want Better Mileage? Lost The Weight Fatty!
Yeah, but if you drive a FWD car, you'll get better tracton

Uh Oh... I've Done It Now
Obviously there are some differeing opinions on this, but the bottom line is that it's BV's car and he can do whatever he wants to it. If there are consequences to him putting a pro-gay sticker on his car, it's his cross to bear and he knows that. It's one thing to joke around with him, but calling him names does nothing for the situation. My gut instinct was to lock the thread, but I'm gonna leave it open in the hopes that the disagreeing factions find a way to step back and RESPECT each other's viewpoints.

FOR SALE
How much for it if you wash a new Z06 with it?

Best Rice Ever
Am I the only one that sees this as BV's next car?

Monaro??
Tons o' speculation going on there, but I think the main thing to get out of it is that Holden and Pontiac will get very intimate with each other over the next few years. Both brands are looking to infuse some excitement into themselves with youthful, performance-oriented cars. The result will undoubtedly be cars better suited to both brands' mission. This is speculation on my part, but it seems like the Monaro/GTO relationship might not be dead after all.

Just Great
If I move my toolbox onto the back seat, I got a spot for you in my trunk right next to my subwoofer. I hope you like Aerosmith.

Uh Oh... I've Done It Now
Be careful, you've made yourself a target. Every Dodge Ram Quad Cab HEMI driver is gonna want to ram your bumper...hard. Oh wait....never mind.

G-O-L-F ... the sport, not the car
I had to play golf for two weeks in P.E. in high school. I hated it, and never picked up a club again. Mini-gol is fun, though.

Opel Astra Sedan unveiled
I'll be the first to say I don't like it. Aside from the taillights, it looks like a Cobalt Sedan whose owner got a gift certificate to JC Whitney. It's better than the Ion, but there's still something awkward about it. The 3dr hatch is much sexier.

Super Corvette Report
0-60 in 2.5....that's like getting hit in the back by a semi doing 100mph. This is gonna be awesome. NOS, you've made my day!

Chevrolet!!!! BUILD THIS IN BLACK!!!!
Yes, though I'd bet on some slightly less aggressive bodywork. I'd also forget about the hand-built LS7. The updated base Corvette engine (whatever that ends up being) is probably much more likely. This sketch really shows the classic lines of this new body style. Call me crazy, but I'm seeing shades of 67'72 in the side sculpting.

I hate the Cardinals.
I'm with Satty - Tigers in 4. The Mets could've taken that game in the 6th. Bases loaded, heart-of-the-order up, a rare Scott Rolen error, a great play by your left fielder in the top of the inning - everything pointed to the Mets blowing it open. Still, a great season for them, considering they weren't supposed to do much of anything this year.

If you could wave The Majic Wand
If I could wave the magic wand...I'd go back to last Friday and get the name of the girl I went riding with and had a great time and who's been on my mind for the past week. I know where she works (she told me), but I'd hate to show up at her office and freak her out.

Rocket- powered Silverado SS
Yeah, racing for pinks would be kinda pointless with that thing

What if...
Me too. Anyone have any ideas what the plans are for the small cars (Cobalt, Ion/Astra, G5, etc.)? I'm not sure that 6 speed will fit.

An important note to all members
I think Fly was referring to people on C&G who may or might have inside information, but normally wouldn't be considered insiders. They deserve to have their viewpoints acknowledged with respect, even if it may conflict with other information or your own personal opinions. I don't think Fly was referring to trolls or GM bashers in his post.

Do you work well under pressure - time crunches?
It depends mainly on whether or not I really enjoy the task in question. If I enjoy it and am passionate about it, I'll put in whatever is needed to get it done 100% perfect. If it's BS work, then I'll do what I can do get the job done according to my satisfaction, but others may or may not be satisfied with it.
