Happy birthday TO ME!
I hear Rosie O'Donnell, Ellen DeGeneres, and Melissa Etheridge are fighting for the opportunity to jump out of a cake for you. Happy Birthday Bob. Hope you like the present I got you.

Oh great, now I'm blushing. All I need is a woman to share your taste in men, and I'm good to go Consider it done. Not because of the compliment, though

Thanks for the compliments, guys. Guess my gym membership is worth it Bob and Paulie - that was taken on my horseback ride in Bandera, TX, from my trip this past summer. What a great town - it's like the clock stopped in 1982, a true cowboy town. I stopped in a general store after my ride and had the best root beer float in my entire life. I forgot my horse's name, but he was awesome. It probably helps that I'm only 125lbs, but as long as you don't lean on the saddle horn and remember to keep your body 100% vertical when going up or down steep grades, the horse hardly knows you're there.

the neighbor got an SSR
I've seen low mileage used 5.3/automatic SSRs available in the 20s. SSRs WILL be collectible, regardless of the drivetrain configuration.

Your little logo is pretty sweet. Do you have perfect hair like that?

Pricing: HHR Panel
I don't get the price increase either, but I can see a lot of people not caring just becauser they think it's cool. I hope the SS powetrain is offered on the panel. Now THAT would be sweet.

Lutz Responds to GM Minivan Debacle
GM's problem is going to be marketing the Lambdas to people who insist they need a minivan. They fell flat on their face trying to convince people that the Colorado's I5 was every bit as good as a V6. In this era of $3/gal. gas, SUV-like vehicles have as much of a stigma as the minivan or the station wagon. The Lambdas look like great vehicles, but I think they'll be a hard sell to minivan buyers.

Nice Guys
Oh man, where to begin. Despite the fact that being nice has gotten me more work than I can handle, and has failed to get me the LTR that I've been waiting for, I'll continue to do it. Why, because I'm called to, and because being a jerk will come back to bite me in the ass someday. I hope you're right, Fly, because there's one in my crosshairs.

Not to disrespect GMS's administration, but I don't even have an account there yet.

Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! You look like a monkey! and you smell like one too!- FIRST LOOK: 2008 Cadillac DTS-L
I respectfully disagree, Sixty. I think adding length at the B-pillar would make it look like the five-gazillion Deville stretch jobs out there. The Thick C-pillar not only adds a touch of class (IMO), it also serves the purpose of hiding the rear passenger's face from casual view.- Attn: Bean Counters At GM!
* sigh * Another pompous ass with a keyboard who thinks he's a journalist. Oh, that reminds me - I should probably get cracking on a new feature article.- Forum Header
Clicky here for reference I'm planning on this only being a temporary change - I only did this to alleviate things since it was pretty bad today. Fly does have a call into DreamHost.- go sciguy

Well I know what I'm getting Croc for Christmas: j/k- The Softer Side of Music
BV, there's no denying that Christina has a nice set of pipes. Live performances like that usually weed out the talented from the "studio queens". I wish she'd ditch the Marilyn Monroe look though - she doesn't carry it half as well as the original.- I hate technology and it hates me
You probably won't get the same guy you spoke to last time. My advice - buy the care pack, get it registered to your camera (usually done online, then do another tech suport call. When you call them, play dumb if you have to, but make sure you tell them you have a care pack.- I hate technology and it hates me
Here you go: 2yr extended service plan - next day exchange - $40 I'd call them up and ask what they'd do for you if you bought this warranty first. Before you start laughing, I asked that exact question after finding out my unit wasn't under warranty anymore, and the rep told me to call them back as soon as I got coverage for it. Just make sure you get someone familiar with the English language. If this works out, get the camera replaced, then flip it on eBay and put the profits towards a Canon. My next camera will be a Canon with extraordinary zoom capabilities.- I hate technology and it hates me
HP is pretty skimpy on their initial warranties. What you can probably do is purchase one of their extended warranties (if available for the Photosmart 945), then call in the repair. I did the same thing with my IPAQ, which had the touch screen stop working a little less thana year after I bought it. The three year next day replacement extended warranty cost $99 for that unit, and I know the repair would have cost more than that.- Edmunds Evaluation: 2006 Sport Compact Comparison
I wouldn't call it biased, but it's definitely flawed. The Subaru and the Mazda are hardly inexpensive, not when they're in the same price bracket as well-equipped trim levels of many mid-sizers. The Cobalt, Civic, and Mini are truer to the sport-compact paradigm and should have received higher ranks than they did.- COMPANY CHRISTMAS PARTIES
I seriously have to start hanging out with you more. - Cory is a big boy!
