  1. Since you're running out of weather, I would keep the truck and finish it, then sell it. Same with the wagon. I wouldn't start the Camino until you have the funding for it. The option I haven't heard is assembling the Jag to make it a more saleable project which gets you cash and clears barn space. Putting labor into the Jag would help get rid of it without parting with the other projects. Assemble Jag -> sale proceeds fund Wagon completion -> sale proceeds fund Mothertruck completion -> sale proceeds fund Camino
  2. That is a refreshing bright spot of news I am happy to hear...thank you for posting it.
  3. Interestingly, I built a 2008 GMC Sierra SLT vs a 2009 GMC Sierra SLT and the 2009 costs about $2K more! That's a pretty big price hike for the privilege of getting bluetooth...and still no 6-speed auto for that extra money.
  4. The bigger question is which dog gets to go with you...

  6. Project $$ are always the challenge! Have you decided if this is a keeper or a flip? And you still need to "finesse" those wheel center caps to fit too :AH-HA_wink:
  7. Moving right along... When's paint?
  8. Hemmings Blog Article Autoblog Article *more images on the Hemmings site*
  9. Same apology as before. Above posted C&G link results in an error for me in FF as an FYI.
  10. Sorry, I looked in the SEMA section and did see them posted.

  12. Some type of career change in your future you'd like to share?
  13. Congrats! Very cool. What is that empty bracket on the driver's side of the motor for? When will you put the rest of the nose on?
  14. Wow, great progress So, no changing the plugs while everything was apart?
  15. So I wonder if Joe the Plumber is enjoying his 15 minutes of fame. After the debate it enjoying digging into his background which revealed: No Plumbing License He owes back taxes to OH ($1,200) He has a suspended AZ driver's license which may impact his OH license (owes Mesa, AZ $700) Link I wonder if McCain will help him out?
  16. In a way, it's a homecoming of sorts. From the Oct 2008 issue of Motor Trend on GM's 100th Anniversary: 1920: Buick President Walter P. Chrysler resigns, uses stock proceeds to start Chrysler Corporation.
  17. Technically that would be a BEEMER (since it's a bike). Bimmer is the car.

  19. Wow, CR picked the Flex over the Pilot! InsideLine Summary
  20. I wonder what the bar code on the windshield is for? Too bad Pontiac.com only shows 2008 cars (yet Chevy.com shows 2009). Some day GM will make a vehicle locater that works so I might find one the easy way to go look at.
  21. Could be. At least it's something new to hear about and maybe will cut some of the negative ads from both sides. McCain's lack of wanting to prioritize is a bit concerning too. The math on this stuff doesn't appear to hold up -- cut taxes, cut some gvt spending, then spend more + war costs. 4 more weeks until it's over...can't wait!
  22. Pretty boring -- same old, same old. The "my friends" thing is annoying. Curious how the McCain mortgage buyback policy unfolds after tonight -- only thing new I heard.
  23. Flex beat the Traverse in the latest issue of Car and Driver too...though they were both back of the pack.
  24. The 3rd SNL installment: LINK The Joe six-pack drinking game reference was great!
