  1. If you end up making the road trip and pass through Hartford, let me know and I'll show you the Novamad
  2. That one seemed to fit your basic criteria. Curious what you find out. Plus you might be able to sell that lift gate to defray some of the purchase price...
  3. Or maybe something Mother truck-ish: http://westernmass.craigslist.org/cto/3087259631.html
  4. Something like this? http://worcester.craigslist.org/cto/3162884481.html
  5. Chevy II. And as an FYI, the pictured Chevy II is not a '62.
  6. I'm going with 79-81 Camaro Z/28
  7. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230764402768&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
  8. Looks like there was a "CHEVROLET" badge glued there at one point. Correct. The black stuff on the right side of the tailgate was the remnants of 2-sided tape from an emblem. Also the left front fender had an 'el camino' emblem, but had fallen off the right side.
  9. It looked better in the dark the other night The riser piece of the hood had a seam you can make out in the black paint...not sure if it's stuck on or what. Hood was the least appealing aspect of the car. The seats were power...there was a button visible. I was trying to figure out what the seats and console came from... At least my truck looks shiny in the background of a few of the shots!
  10. Saw this for sale the other night...stopped by with a camera today during the daylight.
  11. Interesting. CT has eliminated stickers for both emmissions compliance and valid registration. They seem to be mounting the plate scanning hardware on police cruisers instead.
  12. What this tends to tell me is GM is fixing things that aren't broken. The GMT-900s already seem to have a smaller rear cab area on the extended cab models than my current GMT-800. I open that rear hinged door in my current truck on a daily basis from my driver's seat. This shows GM isn't listening to what customers want, just making assumptions by copying others. Of the people I know with GM extended cab trucks, none put people in the back. Many, like me, put large dogs back there. Buyers who need to haul people and value the rear door being able to open independently for a child to exit, etc buy a Crew Cab. Regular cab, extended cab and crew cab buyers have very different preferences from my experience. If they felt the need to change the door design, make it slide like the Dodge Rampage concept. Not sure who they're using in customer clinics, but they're getting bad input.
  13. I hope that bump on the rear door of the extended-cab looking model isn't a door handle. If GM copies the RAM/Tundra and turns the extended cab (rear hinged door) into a 'mini-crew cab' I'm going to be seriously pissed!

  15. I think their technique worked a little better in the Chevelle video...probably some learning curve when they did the Camaro. Still fun to watch for me too with all my toys in hibernation for the winter. I may need to try this camera trick with the Novamad this summer...
  16. I liked how they did the camera positioning and captured all the driveline sounds. Here's their first posting, a Camaro:
  17. How did the '54 DeSoto w/Ghia body look in person? Looks interesting in pictures.
  18. My 11 (soon to be 12) year old truck just hit 90K miles...driven daily.
