  1. I like the style of the green one better, but I'd much rather have red than green. New one looks to be in great shape though, congrats!
  2. Very good news! The manual trans has been the major flaw in all the reviews...glad to see they're taking care of it.
  3. Now you should 'fluff up' your current Tahoe, sell it, then flip this one for 2K more than you paid for it and go down to VA and buy that 3500 with the combined funds
  4. What if you just mounted a plow on the Tahoe? Fisher evens makes one specifically for half-tons...
  5. http://www.cheersandgears.com/topic/79568-other-stuff-ive-been-eyeballing/page__st__160#entry712555
  6. How 'bout trading the Tahoe + your truck cash fund for this one? http://www.pickuptru...ucks&listType=1
  7. Now that you've made the offer, maybe what you really want will emerge...
  8. Bummer. I thought for sure I found one in your price range, mileage range and geography this time
  9. Apparently none of these dealers realized the trucks they've been selling for the past 13 years had rear doors that opened on extended cab models...
  10. LMC Truck seems to offer them, though you'd be sidelined while you waited for them to arrive: http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/ce/full.aspx?Page=156
  11. Does it count if I still own it?
  12. BigPontiac

    CDL required?

Toyota coined a term for it in their advertising: The Camry Effect.
  13. 1970 Chrysler New Yorker - 440/4bbl and front disc brakes. I bought it from an estate for $50 in 1988. I used to hunt and embarrass brand new IROC Z's and Trans Ams

  15. EPIC FAIL. coming from the owner of an extended cab pickup with rear opening extended cab doors. X2 I like hidden door hardware and the rear hinges. For all those who complain about the rear hinged doors, GM already has a crew cab model to address their concerns. Variety is a good thing.
  16. So I found this listed on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/...59d4877&vxp=mtr Says it's from a '78 shortbed. Really weird the brochures don't show this.
  17. Ah - the International Scenic Cruiser!! I first laid eyes on this truck 2 or 3 years ago at the ATHS Truck Show in Macungie (June), and it's been there every year since. If you watch the robot fighting movie "Real Steel", you'll see one in use throughout the movie. Awesome looking rare trucks. Thanks for posting Awesome truck and movie. I think you meant to say that it's an International Sightliner...
  18. What do you expect the Tahoe sale to add to your truck budget? Another $4,500?
  19. Something looks really funny about that one..the tires/wheels are really tiny or it's had a lift? Looks like a stock 2500 to me...just a basic truck.
  20. This one is a little closer, but a stretch on your budget. http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/3229927361.html
  21. It's still waiting... http://hartford.craigslist.org/cto/3232969030.html
  22. I saw the perfect truck for you today. A 2nd-gen S10, 2WD, black, regular cab, standard bed. $2,800.
  23. Another non-El Camino option. http://newlondon.craigslist.org/cto/3236046013.html
