  1. Come on...give the guy what he wants and try something other than vanilla for once. LOL. Are you flattered or disgusted?
  2. With the sliding second row forward, I found the 3rd row in the Highlander to be comfortable. Anything less would be for small trips only.
  3. I really don't see what you guys are seeing. The only thing that separates this from every other FWD midsize sedan is the heated/cooled cupholders. The huge mindblowing differences end there.
  4. Dramamine (SP?) works well. I only took it the first time I flew and realized I do not get air sick. It's probably the crappy are travelers are forced to inhale mixed with the crappy food, cramped space and turbulence.
  5. It is too plain for the X5 and it does not look luxurious. It looks too much like the current-gen. The shifter is cool, though.
  6. Just a little blurb, part of a photo caption: The I4's developed with Mitsubishi and Hyundai (?) seem to be weak. Every review is complaining of lack of power no matter what the car is. This is ugly. The Patriot has a much better, more traditional Jeep design.
  7. The exterior doesn't look as busy as the RDX but I think the interior is worse. There are too many buttons and it doesn't look that luxurious.
  8. Does any GM vehicles have push-button start?
  9. ^ LOL. I have only had positive experiences, too. Some stores can get too crowded, though. I hate hot coffee but I like the Java Chip and Strawberries & Creme. They have some mighty good looking food, too. I think I could order almost every dessert. Edit: LOL @ 2 up.
  10. Funny thing is that we have long passed 300,000,000 with all of the illegals included.
  11. Five-door, three-door, convertible and SRT models would help, along with a little bit more room and power. Sliding rear seats like the Maxx, available navigation and entertainment system. A cool sunroof option. Available AWD. For design, perhaps more edgy like the Pronto concept? It would be an evolution and would look a little less wussy. I like Northstar's idea, though. Surely, 1930's design had more nooks and crannies that what the PT shows.
  12. Awesome. A few questions...how did your state help you out with the cost of such a system? Is it hooked up to the grid? Will your local utility company pay you for the excess energy? I think all new homes should be forced to have solar panels and individual homeowners should have the ability to hook them up to the grid or not.
  13. E-mail might be to the point but it is not as effective as talking to someone. What you write can easily be taken out of context since things like sarcasm are not transmitted through typed word. People are much better picking up verbal cues. Also, e-mail cannot be confirmed. Someone can easily get out of situation by saying, "I never received the e-mail." E-mail is also dependent on the amount of Internet traffic and ISP service. You may not receive an e-mail from any between a few minutes to a few days from the time it was originally sent. Plus, when important matters need to be dealt with quickly, there will not be much chit chatting going on. Still, face-to-face communication is the best. :AH-HA_wink:
  14. Quietly forced out because of the recent problems? Satty's explanation is probably more likely, though.
  15. It should be standard. Thanks for the info.
  16. B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L! Damn...that is one amazing interior. Awesome and different design, looks to be good materials and ugly steering wheel but I'm not complaining. Can someone post the photos of the last time we got a sneak peak at this interior so we can compare?
  17. I got a good laugh from this article. If I-Drive is considered an "innovation" than I would rather not have innovation. I may be wrong here but premium manufacturers are not supposed to have tons of recalls.
  18. Doesn't ESP and TC come standard on every other modern midsize family sedan? I hope this has side airbags standard.
  19. Even though GM started the whole employee pricing crap, its response should be: "Our vehicles are good enough to sell without such a discount. Come and see for yourself." with shots of the GMT-900 SUVs, Sky, Aura, Impala, G6 line, etc.
  20. Based on the crap that I get in my e-mail, I wouldn't even want to think about what he gets. Sticking to the telephone, which works just as well as e-mail speed-wise and has even more benefits than e-mail, is fine with me.

    Hummer

Come on, it's not that bad!
  22. Sarah Brightman is pretty good. Her latest album has a strong Middle Eastern vibe and it's amazing. I bought her concert DVD and the songs are even better life.
  23. I just discovered the shape of the front reminds me of the 9-5.
