Looks nice from the front. I saw a black Challenger yesterday and you can really tell it's a Charger in drag. Something about its size and proportions turns me off. I think I'll like the Camaro better.

I saw a Zenn yesterday, and the stying was pretty decent. It had a silver HOV ACCESS OK sticker, which seems odd given the low top speed... maybe it's only for parking meters?

IDK, the interior seems kinda un-Mercedes-like. And there isn't much room behind the third row. For six-to-seven passenger roadtrips, I'd still rather take an Odyssey. The thing about the Ody is that while there's infinite space inside, it doesn't feel overly cavernous and imposing, like the smaller Flex does. I checked out a Flex the other day, and while I love the styling, a good minivan is better at managing space. The second row doesn't slide fore-and-aft, the beltline is too high, the pillars are too thick, and actual seat comfort wasn't too good.

If GM had the resources and will, it's definitely a cool idea. People associate electric with golf carts and wimpy G-Wizes, but you have to remember, the first WWI tank made in the US was gas-electric, and everyday, Caterpillar HD electric forklifts are moving tons of toilet paper and graham crackers from the shelves of Costcos nationwide...

Agreed... it's all very frustrating when people refuse to acknowledge the contributions of manufacturers other than the Big 3 to the US economy. Here in Southern California, we have no car assembly plants yet the automobile industry is still one of our biggest employers. Their presence is quiet and overshadowed by other things going on in the region, but take for example, how practically everyone in my neighborhood knows at least one person who works for Toyota, Honda, Mazda, or Hyundai. And these are "value-added" jobs, not manufacturing. Autoline Detroit of all shows did an interesting series on the automobile industry in Southern California, and John McElroy toured the giant facilities they have here.

New RL and new Fit. The Fit is smaller than I expected... in pics, it almost looks like an MPV, but in person, it's still very much a tiny hatch.

Yeah, don't they make them there? In St Antonio, I believe? During lunchtime today, 9 out of 10 vehicles I saw were Toyotas. I was next to their national HQ. There was this one nice black RS4 parked in the employee lot, though...

I like it. This thing is so much more car than that ridiculous FWD tippy wagon they now call SRX.

Looks cheap. It doesn't have the aggressive profile of the Germans, or the CTS Wagon, but hey, Lexus's FWD-based RX does well enough. That's probably the SRX's new target, and I don't blame Cadillac. Real estate agents and the like are into that sort of thing.

The back is a bit Renault and Audi, but I like it. Hot.

What makes eating meat and tofu mutually exclusive? I love burgers (beef, of course, not "soy", ew) and tofu (steamed, baked, fried, braised, fermented...). Simply boiling edamame and sprinkling it with sea salt is good, too. Just eat everything in moderation, and as long as it's naturally occurring, you'll be fine.

It's already quite common in Europe, where gas prices are twice as high. Most of the Lucerne's competitors have fuel-efficient V6s quicker than the Lucerne's V8 and four-speed. Hell, the Traverse weighs 1000+ lbs more than the Lucerne 3.9L and has 50+ more hp, yet it earns the same city fuel economy of 17 mpg.

$35K isn't too bad. A Prius currently costs $22,220, and a 40-mile Hymotion PHEV kit costs $9,995, for a total of $32,215. For an extra $3K you get a factory installed job that's covered by the full factory 10/150K hybrid warranty.
