  1. About the Raider...maybe? But definitely about the ION, some 11500 vs. 10600.
  2. Um. Those are alloy. You can also see the brake caliper. For a few years, the Buick Century had some real convincing wheel covers over steel wheels, with a removable center cap covering the lugs and all.
  3. Which means... January - 29 March - 32 April - 34 May - 35 June - 36 Also, Saturn sold more IONs this month than Mitsibishi sold Mitsubishis.
  4. I see Kia is fleeting the Amanti again...
  5. If it looked like the Caliber, it wouldn't have been called a 'fad'. People lumped the PT and HHR in with the Thunderbird and the like as short-lived retro cars. Unlike the T-Bird, these lil' wagons have utility.
  6. I think we all know at least one person who lived in a Toyota, likely a Cressida with lots o' rust.
  7. Geez, good luck with that search. I've seen maybe six SportCrosses ever.
  8. Couldn't one purchase a Dodge V10 engine and construct a motorcycle around it for far less than $550,000? Granted, it wouldn't be as 'clean' as the concept, but...
  9. If I'm backing up, that counts, right?
  10. Mark LT > Monterrey by almost twice as much. That's a sad, sad figure.
  11. A friend of mine bought an Element for a day out to the beach. Oh wait. Its actually an Igloo cooler. Sorry, I confuse the two.
  12. Who the hell likes humidity? If you do, you are simply strange.
  13. Exactly. Things like this only serve to make lazy, incompetant drivers lazier and less competant. Blind-spot detection exists - its called 'rearview mirrors' and 'looking'; Lane-departure warning also exist - its called 'THUMPTHUMPTHUMP' and 'HONK!' from the car in the other lane.
  14. Ford's current offering is the Freestyle. Surely you jest.
  15. No. This crap doesn't need to be in any car. Period.
  16. Flybrian replied to capriceman's topic in The Lounge
Stay at the Watergate. Ask for the Nixon Special.
  17. Maybe lane departure control or one of those things that alerts the driver when he's not looking ahead? Jesus, lets hope its neither. This is already a preferred equipment group package on the Ram since at least 2003, perhaps earlier. Adds a tow package, alloys, and some other things. Its sometimes signified by THUNDERROAD script mounted just below the regular RAM 1500 badging on the door panels, though not always. One of the project managers at work has one.
  18. Agreed on the first (at least the cruise and audio controls), I believe a power pass seat will be optional, and you know keyless entry is standard on this. Remember, this isn't a very detailed spec sheet either. White Diamond, Cream White, Gold Mist, Silver Pearl, and Ocean Mist seems mere shades apart. Whatever happened to Emerald/Jade Green? Adriatic Blue? That Amathyst whatever? Firemist Gold? Galaxy Silver? These color pallettes blow.

  20. Those who buy CXs don't want that sort of suspension. They like the float. Seriously. Talk to some older people. I enjoy a compliant Buick dynaride feel myself (and appreciate that my Aurora has good handling but never at the cost of ride quality), but holy crap. I remember waiting at a Buick dealership for service and an older man was talking to the service tech about his LeSabre Custom riding 'a bit too stiff'... Also, I wouldn't say any Buick is 'unrefined' in ride quality. Some models are very adept at providing a cushy, floaty, disconnected ride and do it extrodinarily well. You could run over a sea turtle and never notice. This may not be to your liking, but - how should I say this - it controls its lack of control very well. It is one with the float. I would say a base '00 Impala or '02 Camry CE would fall under 'unrefined' simply because the suspension doesn't know what its doing - it exhibits massive body roll, yet is still rough over bumps. What the hell?
  21. White cars with little trim all look bland. Give me the Jag because its ass isn't mishapened.
  22. Fine, $95.00. You're putting me over a barrel here...
  23. Dear Toyota, Thank you for making the next Corolla a reasonable height because your current one is an absolutely horrible car.
  24. Why can't I find Amanda Hugginkiss?
