April 2006 Sales: General Motors Corp.
Does anyone else find it hillarious that so far the SSR has outsold the 9-5? Or that the entire Oldsmobile line sold 45% of what the 9-2x has so far this year...and Olds has been dead for two years? Or that without the 9-3, GM's 'dead fleet' outsells SAAB 2-to-1?

Are you kidding me? Look at the interior - poor build quality, bland material choices, hard dash plastics. Nothing like an Altima.

- Edmunds: Long-term Cobalt update
That's only because they $h!canned the idiot editors of the past, like Christian Wardlow and Liz Kim.- Little features you love
Pretty much anything that cannot be found on any Korean car, like decent ergonomics and non-annoying chimes.- Spy Shots: 2007 Honda CR-V
Um. Actually, he's wording is just fine, thank you. Man, I'm not that much older than you and I've heard that expression.- Spanish version of National Anthem
And yet with all the hoopla, people tend to forget the facts. We not only have an official Spanish-language National Anthem, but four. US State Department This new one is crap not for the tongue its sung in, but because of the liberties - no pun intended - taken with the original context of the Anthem. Plus, the little pieces of Puerto Rican rap influences in it are mystifying and irritating.- May 1st Rally
As it turns out, no one got a taste of silver teal this afternoon. Things were peaceful...lots of hooting and hollering and horn honking, but nothing out of hand. Apparently, one of these 'Minutemen' f*$ktards tried to start something, but the police hauled him away. I don't understand why we even have vigilante border patrol in Florida anyway. Too many Alabamian immigrants? Go back to Valdosta, you illegal Georgian? The rest of the state is surrounded by water and these aren't the type that appear to be able to afford watercraft beyond the Tom Sawyer variety.- Mitsubishi and the next 25 years
I will always fondly remember Mitsubishi for their Betty bombers that exploded so frequently, their Zero fighters that strafed so proudly, their home electronics that ate so many of my videocassettes, their fat Eclipse that just couldn't stop, and of course, this thing... RAWR, you sexy beast of a...thing...- Avalon shows dent in Toyota quality
Too bad you cast aspersions on domestic models that bear only the same nameplate as its predecessors. Also, 'small irritations'? A misaligned trim panel is a 'small irritation.' Problems with the frame of the car is full-blown herpes. So, by definition, the new LS is a total piece of $h!. Nice one, MmmmBop Hanson.- G6 convertible trunk
So, about the G6.- My boyfriend is now supercharged....
Aren't you always excited?- May 1st Rally
Man, I have to go to work tomorrow. If anyone is blocking the streets in Tampa, they're going to taste some Oldsmobile.- G6 convertible trunk
Where is the uniqueness in that? As Northstar indicated, its the frying pan or the fire. The simple fact is, no one else out there is rolling out a true 4-seater retractable hardtop with decent power at that price point. Just because you don't think it was the best idea doesn't make it so. Also, speaking of your last two points, the G6 'vert is shorter than both the Sebring and Solara OAL yet with a longer wheelbase than either and also weighs 50lbs less than the Chrysler and over 150lbs less than the Toyota. And just think, right now, some idiot is spending $3k more on a Sebring.- Chrysler 300 surpassed the 300,000 mark
With the Camry's volume, that's around 100k units. Wow. With the LX cars, its just sad to see that most of the rentals are indeed rental material. From a purely anecdotal observation, most of the Impala and Lucerne rentals I've seen in these neck-of-the-woods are vibrantly-colored and nicely equipped with alloys, spoilers, sunroofs and accompanying interior accruments. Contrast that with the 300 rentals, all of which tend to be base models with that pile-of-$h! 2.7l, wheel covers, no chrome accents, and worst of all, either white, gray, or swirl-marked black. Also, remember that Impala figure included the remaining '05s. I don't think those figures broke the fleet percentage down by model year, only by model name.- Has Anyone Out There Bought An STS-V or XLR-V?
If yer taht rich u dun need to speke goood dawg,,,,,,fo shi8zzzz beyothc- Mexico set to legalize
I think he means emissions standards and he's trying to exemplify how times have changed since those days. There are two sides to every issue, just like there are to the current immigration problem. The fact is we cannot simply deport tens of millions of illegals (not just Mexicans) nor can we allow everyone who wants to emigrate here to do so without some sort of process. The answer lies in immigration reform and all these silly Spanish-language anthems are just a veil over the real issue.- Lexus struggles in Japan against
Okay, guys. Although the phrase "pompus dink" is the funniest insult I've read today, its time to tone it down across the board. If you want to have it out with someone, do it someplace else. Also, my word is the last word in this 'argument', so let's get back on topic, shall we?- College towns / "Hippy-dippy" towns
Gainsville, Florida. Besides FSU, there is nothing there and the closest attraction would be the town of Starke, home to Florida's electric chair.- Chrysler 300 surpassed the 300,000 mark
I'm surprised Chrysler is priced more than Dodge yet delivers less content...and more surprised suckers buy that grille for an extra $1200. - Edmunds: Long-term Cobalt update
