  1. Thinking you are correct on the Genesis version.
  2. Given that those same regulations killed off the old full size cars... something to be concerned about. Brazil uses biological products that it grows itself to largely fuel it's vehicles. If we could just do the same thing! I live at the edge of a major city... people around me use trucks for both agriculture and construction. We need to keep options open for people who need and want trucks.
  3. Would love to go back to the early seventies and enjoy full size cars once again.
  4. Exactly... I am much more into accessable cars I can have fun with. Actually prefer the Miata to the Benz in question.
  5. Volt is very impressive. That is assuming one is smart enough to figure out "male" and "female" in regards to an electrical cord connection.
  6. Toyota does have impressive Hybrid battery technology, one of things I like about it.
  7. Saw a sharp 65 Corvette Coupe in red westbound on stringtown road... Also saw a pristine dark blue mid eighties Eldorado. Interesting...
  8. It is also multiple orders of magnitude better looking than the rather bland S class.
  9. Not sure of any additional requirements... Actually it pains me greatly to say it and even more greatly to admit it, but Fusion Sport for what it is...is actually kind of impressive. Malibu is also better looking IMHO, although I lack your hatred of the Camry.
  10. Maybach S class is an extremely small portion of overall vehicle sales. Not really sure what people think when they buy cars...in the United States we have 330 million people and 220 million private vehicles. Probably impossible to generalize much about the public at large in this case. I wonder if that is from side impact collision standard changes regarding Impala hip room.
  11. Depends on what you mean by fun size...but the bug eye Sprite is not going back into mass production. ...and actually I think in a few years I will buy another Miata...4th generation which is the current car. So long as that stays in production I am a happy guy.
  12. I remember when cars of that era littered salvage yards... sadly gone now... Glad your dismembered body can type from the trunk of a car! Really loved your list, agree with Dingo.
  13. More troublesome is FCA mentally reverting to 1970 when it is 2017 It is almost like watching a dying man have one last good Memory before he passes. FWIW back in the sixties people signed waiver also for car like this.
  14. I agree...as a MINI fan it makes MINIs moronic advertising look downright appealing. Aluminum I think is up to the task...
  15. Exactly...not impressed with Kia build quality either.
  16. As an electrician who worked on job sites, I cringe at the thought of the tounge lashings coming to the idiot who does the types of abuse shown in truck advertising to someone's fifty grand rig. The Ridgeline is not My cup of tea but it is unique and actual owners love them. Even though I like the F series really well I would take a Ridgeline over an F series just because I know so many people who have had issues with Ford trucks and because I really don't like the Ford Motor company.
  17. Ohhhhhhhhh I so appreciate his list. Good thing cars on that list had a Trunk, so Ocnblu could hide oldshurst body after he saw that electrified Chevelle. The cars aren't the only thing under the knife here...
  18. Given the insect like styling, one hopes a can of Raid might work better...
  19. Camry is competitive with but does not blow away...
  20. Cool...but honestly I have more respect for people like Subaru who build mass market performance cars aimed at something other than drag racing. If you want to go drag racing, eighty five grand will buy you something faster than the Demon, a tow vehicle, an enclosed trailer, extra parts, and a year of fuel and entry fees.
