  1. Good luck dude...start a fleet of the little FWD buggies, I say!
  2. Agree with Reg...
  3. As it is, it will be a wait...local subie dealer says there is a sixteen week wait for a BRZ....
  4. Agreed...some people get sport compacts, some people don't. Some people get the idea of full size luxury, some don't. Some people think all 1950's American cars are ugly pigs....to each his own. Personally, I like the FRS/BRZ, but feel it has its limitations.
  5. It's an interesting car, and I wouldn't mind owning one, but in the real word its day to day faults outweigh some of the benefits. Very happy with the Cooper S and Miata in the driveway, this car doesn't move me enough to trade one in and take on a payment.
  6. I'd love to hear it!
  7. If they build the GTI in Mexico, I ain't buying one....the Quality control at the Mexican plant is just godawful....
  8. Considering your progress...please include a wheelchair ramp in your restoration efforts so we can all REACH the bed. On the plus side, you ought to get done about the same time Baltyhy gets tyhe Buick back on the road...perhaps we could have a two vehicleconvoy to the B-59 Centenial celbration at Buick headquarters!
  9. Good news indeed!
  10. I wish you luck getting it done....
  11. As the guy on this forum most likely to actually buy one...I think it looks fantastic!
  12. Good frined of mine who is Asian faced pressure to marry an Asian girl from his parents...they said asian girls look younger longer. His sister married a white guy without getting any flack... Marry whoever you want to....white, black,.whatever. I am married to a fiar skinned woman, but like GMCTG I prefer women of Hispanic or perhaps Asian descent.... If somethin g happened to my wife, I might well choose to stay single....does that make me racist because I might not want to date a woman of any race?
  13. ...and I know of several 71 Corvette parts cars here in the colubus area...if only I had time and money...
  14. Everything is built to be more complicated than it needs to be....
  15. Hmmmmmm....that would be an interesting combo.....
  16. Diesel is pricey, but in a high mpg car, this rates really well.
  17. Conmgrats...as the father of five, I know how much fun this time of life can be! and you look entirely too happy as uncle!
  18. FWIW a local guy bought a 66 small block 4 speed roadster with fairly minor fire damage for about 5K... A car that has been through a serious fire is toast IMHO...I wouldn't trust the frame once it's seen that kind of heat.
  19. Agree with getting rid of unqualified dealers who can't fix or service the cars correctly... Seeing lots more Volts on the road here in Ohio.
  20. For someone with a lot of time on their hands....
  21. ...and I really like your new ride....congrats...you work hard and deserve it...glad to see you enjoying it!
  22. Glad to see Alan and the boys at ford doing welll!
  23. Not bad for two brands doing quite a bit to bring out odd and unappealing products....
  24. Kisashi was a decent product....
