  1. HELL YES! It's main steet more than wall street that has done this...we as a people ahve let our elected officials walk all over this. Fix main street and wall street and you will fix Washington...
  2. Blu...your missing the point. Move to Arizona, and your still a truck guy...plain and simple. Not gonna change... YOU NEED A JEEP OR A TRUCK DUDE...no amount of wishing this away is going to change things.
  3. Actually, almost warm enough in Columbus for some odd reason to put the convertible top down today...that SUCKS to have snow like that out east.
  4. It works (not) for MINI... Cobalt is an under-rated car. ...and the name should have been kept...
  5. Titan is one of the worst trucks around....amazing that Nissan is going to continue the truck wars...
  6. Volt is excessively good looking for a sedan IMHO.... I would rock one if I could fur sure...
  7. This. I just had a 4dr Wrangler as a rental for 10 days in Las Vegas. it was huge enough inside, but it still was a manageable size and it had a great seating position. It didn't have any bells and whistles, and it won't do too well around the Nurburgring, but none of that mattered. There's just something about driving one with the top flipped back and the radio blasting that feels so.....right. I'd put a 2dr Wrangler at the top of my list of replacements for my Cobalt when I try to unload it next spring. Now that fall is finally here, I'm seeing a lot of Wranglers rolling around top down. They have a lot of charm. You and blu both need to do the right thing, walk through the front door, and buy one.
  8. The older Toyotas were cool, including the Original FJ...
  9. Xc70 is legit reason to cut her off in the bedroom IMHO....C30 FTW!
  10. Alas MINI will never sell 300K cars here in the US...nor build a RWD pushrod car....
  11. It is a RWD Sports car, which is a dying breed...don't want to show too much hate yet.
  12. Or just get back to the original idea of MINI...
  13. FWIW my wife wants a C30, what does your wife want? In some ways I like the C30 MUCH better than the MINI S...think of it as an upgrade, dude!
  14. Agree with compression test and doing the head gaskets!
  15. Worth it indeed...costs me about the same to insure my extra truck.
  16. I do like the Kisashi...a little too sedanish for my tastes...but its a well built, decent car. Too bad it is the stillborn son of a soon to be dead Marque in the USA.
  17. MINI needs a sedan, yes...and a couple of other things.
  18. Agreed...like the PT Crusier, once the cool and Retro wears off, no one will want them.
  19. I can agree with you that we need a more lean, well focused fed gov't.....
  20. Ford is still on my crap list... Another consumer type auto rag I read said that the Prius has an enormous number of problems with owners...why does Consumers Reports not write about this crap?
  21. Would also be a good vehicle to pay off and get out from under a car payment... permanently. A car/truck like that could last you ten or fifteen years...you could pay off the house...get clear of debt...and enjoy life. Admit it...your a truck guy...you always will be...
  22. BMW groop is going downhill fast IMHO...not just MINI. Audi is becoming MUCH more my fav. upscale European b rand, and I am starting to like vW much more than MINI. Not that I dislike MINI....but they are getting stuuupid....
  23. I hate to do this but Olds...don't we have a policy against slandering Domestic automakers here at C and G? Isn't the above post a slam on Chrysler? Just curious....
