  1. Thanks for posting this!
  2. Buick Grand National is one of my very fav vehicles, however most seem to have disappeared for some odd reason.
  3. $10,500 is not a b ad number...
  4. Bikes are brilliant, as is mass transit. Places that lack both are a PITA...and while I love it, I am glad I no longer live in Atlanta.
  5. LMAO! Mr. Dart, I agree with ya regarding leather seats. Unless they're heated, then they're OK. They can be hot in summer and cold in winter. I have cloth seats in my car, but a leather wrapped wheel and shifter knob. One concern I have is getting the gray seats dirty after working all day. Maybe I should carry a big towel to put over the seat in case my clothes are dirty, or just strip in the parking lot, whichever is easier for me to remember. Thanks uncle davey, and ZL-1. That GTC looks pretty cool, I'd take it as a Buick with a front clip similar to the Verano. I was hoping to drop by one evening and take you to dinner after work, but if your naked in the parking lot they might look at us kinda funny when we walk into Texas Roadhouse together..... Wish the Astra had made it here in the USA, was a decent little car!
  6. I do like that a new two door vehicle came to market...
  7. Good point Satty!

  9. Scion IQ looks better but it only comes with a weak autotrajic....
  10. That they are! All of my children are learning to drive stick...my 21 year old doesn't like it, my 15 year and 18 year old love it, and my 13 year old had his first lesson today...
  11. Midsize Gm would be close for me as well...and 66 was a good year for cars, esp. the Malibu... FANTASTIC car, BTW....
  12. They say that when it comes to Porn, every man has an Adam or Eve, an ideal in their mind they are looking for but never finding. Perhaps the same thing could b e said of cars....whhat is your automotive Adam or Eve...the very root of your passion? For me, it's anything roadster-ish. I say ish because cars like the S2000, solstice, Boxster, 56 T Bird, 72 vette Convertible, et al have side windows and are not truly roadsters.... But for me a pre WW II F1 car, a roadster running at Bonneville, a Solstice, a 57 vette ragtop, my Miata, a formula Ford, an IRL car, a 60's roadster at Indy, a sprint car at Eldora, winged Sprint cars at Columbus Motor Speedway, etc. Just doesn't matter...I love all roadsterish cars...and that is the root of my passion.
  13. Oh sweet Mary mother of Jesus....the motor in that thing will keep me up at night....just thinking about it. I think I entered a whole new dimension of automotive lust..
  14. bingo, I just lost my good friend Kathy at 45, sad to see someone die young...good luck with your new pursuits, Chris!
  15. Not hard to imagine getting this kind of MPG, one of my fav. Chevy's was actually my two door 85 type ten Cavalier, it got 43 or 44 miles to the gallon a bunch of times on trips, a fantastic little car.... Right now I'm thinking of getting a car next year, my top five choices are C30 Volvo, cooper/CooperS by MINI, Cruze, Fiesta, and GTI. Anything you post on fiesta or Cruze is helpful right now, so thanks...just showed my wife this point and it made big points with the wife, who checked out a Kia soul this afternoon and liked it.
  16. I wouldn't....
  17. A friend and I did a dual carb swap into a 64 Sport fury that was also red back when I was a teenager. 66 was a heck of a year for cars...this is one awesome machine!
  18. I've seen lots of old volvo's with stupid miles on them...
