1. Very nice write up, I have thought a buel would be a very fine bike indeed. I almost bought one a few years back. right now I have ADD, which is getting worse, and alas I'm not sure I trust myself on a bike, so....no Buel for me.
2. Yes they will!
3. Saw a very tired 1970 road runner, faded to a very rusty pink, on the east side of Columbus Ohio. Miss Plymouth like I miss Oldsmobile.
4. Wow, depreciation is your friend, my friend...
5. That's correct, sir. You would be sadly correct, sir.
6. OMFG...OMFG...I love that video....
7. Sigh...and you guys say the politics thread got off topic when we started talking about a certain governors daughter.... A whole lot less room for bumpin and thumpin in a fiesta than a truck... Have fun with your fiesta party....
8. Weren't Mr. Daimler and Mr. Benz both German and therefore European? My thoughts exactly.
9. Happy birthday!
10. Bingo...my thoughts e Folding operation is superb, I'm going to try and get a video of it. Material quality on both sides of the seems sturdy. ...'blu....try an 05 up...much more stalbe in the Miata... and as for the convertible Camaro...much higher quality stuff than the MX-5....but a 33k car rather than a 21k car...what I'd expect....
11. Watch the little vette roll, boys....
12. http://www.freep.com/article/20110324/BUSINESS01/110324019/Global-auto-industry-could-lose-5-million-vehicles-amid-Japan-disaster-expert-says?odyssey=tab Fantastic read, interested in what anyone thinks.
13. I can't imagine anything that might have swayed your mind recently.... +1
14. Bingo on the oil lobby thing....but yea...given ten years...major changes. Thanks for posting this, croc!
15.

I would too...and I think that it would bring us together. I think for example that were we to square off along partisan lines, you and I (balthazar and Stang) would mostly disagree. But were we to discuss an issue...we might really agree. We could even explore a topic...two guys going at each other from not opposing but not points in agreement...and deal with a topic like "what would it take to make high speed rail competitive?" or "Why can't the federal gov't have a balanced budget?" or "what can be done to improve high school education in the US?" We could even have a brain storming session between two guys where we just kick out positive ideas. I think you'll find that Camino (amoung others) is full of positive, rational things if we just give him (them) a chance to open up.

what is it called when the sovereign mind is inebriated? lol

TOYOTA!.

Fixed that for you, Bob!
16. I like Won't get fooled again and Bohemian rhapsody...the others are....meh in my book. Most of what came out after 1990 or so is kind of over rated, IMHO...or maybe I am just getting old. My son and I listen to everything from the Rolling Stones to bucket Head together...and he introduced me to Type O negative, who I just love...but mosmodern rock...meh....

I like Styx and Queen, actually...listening to them brings back great memories of old girlfriends and riding around in my 70 chevelle...which shows how old I really am!

The Horror... The Horror...

The horror indeed!

Free Bird would be one of those songs that I would have to be stoned to enjoy...since I don't get stoned....
17. New Focus is hot...
18. This is how I would define it also. Bingo!
19. Which is why I think a moderated, thoughtful discussion would be best...
20. Eliminate the Politics section as it is, and then have a section for debate. Have a moderated, intelligent debate between two C and G members on a specific topic. We could have a Peanut gallery thread, but most of those tend to be useless. methinks a section where the general audience could "cross examine" the debaters with a limited # of questions (say a limit of 3 per member) would be better... Just my two cents.
21. Oh...and in the same vein....saw an equally clean Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe in front of one of those places here in Columbus that makes Donkmobiles... Guess we (sadly ) know what's going to happen to THAT car.
22. Went to the local pick and pull with my son, Joel and his friend to get a few minor parts for friend's Nissan. In the yard... Porsche 944, clean, in the re-builder section, fairly minor left side damage...but hurt just enough I wouldn't want it. CRX, rebuild able, but in the parts section. 1959 Chevy 4 door post, rusty rocker panels but all there and fairly straight, faded original paint (red) they wanted $1400 for the whole car... Red Cavi Z24 ragtop, parked with the top down, kind O sad... A Miata...first time I've seen a Miata in pick and pull... a 66 GMC 1 ton 2WD long bed, looked like it had been carefully restored a long time ago and then started a long slow decline...you could see where someone had painted the frame, etc...at one time...but a little rough...pretty much picked clean in the parts section. Three more GMC trucks 67, 70, 72, in Junkyards near by... a 64 Buick Riviera...rusty drivers floor but otherwise fairly solid...originally blue but repainted black...pretty much stripped clean... a 69 Pontiac Custom S, coupe, Mayfair Maze, someone must have striped it for a parts car for a GTO or something...passenger door, windshield and trunk lid were about all that was left and usable on the car. A clean Nissan 240 from the early 1990's... A late 70's 280 Z, amazingly solid and had been on the road recently, getting stripped down by some Z car fans... Oh...and a Yugo...and a green on Tan Pontiac Bonnie SSEI
