  1. Good luck with whatever you do...your already ahead of the "way too cool of a car" thing with the wagon so....good luck...
  2. Awesome...a whole lot more fun working on vintage tin than digging with a shovel, eh? How are negotiations for our "vette' coming?
  3. Three letters...G....T....I.....
  4. The people who can barely afford $169 for a dresser from Ikea are the target market. Young, fabulous, and fabulously broke. $128,000 In debt with student loans and making 26K a year....sharing an aprtment with four friends...and about to be laid off. VW knows their target market well.
  5. I agree with you Olds...and as a lover of sports cars...why on earth did Honda try to build a sports car out of their horrid hybrid? Living in the past like that...it's almost the automotive equal of a comb over on a bald guy.... UGHHHHH....
  6. Some neat old Ford's in that barn, WMJ!
  7. Let's just put it this way, Z06...my teenage daughter has threatened some interesting things if I bring a Cube home. It is the car the whole family seems to love to hate.... And yes, methinks we have a Nissan salesman among us.
  8. Glad your okay, dude, VW Golf is a tough little car....
  9. Small changes like DF did with his car really add up....DF has inspired me to keep the Miata and do some things with it....
  10. Your right...for a grand you should have been able to clone an Audi R8. Seriously, great work, you should be proud of yourself.
  11. Our xB is a pretty competent family vehicle....and again, the Soul is the pick of the pack as far as current mini boxes go... Knight...why did they trade the MINI, too small?
  12. I just learned something...thanks guys...never new the Lincoln continental had a diesel....
  13. He'll get there...working on your own car is fun....
  14. Congrats!
  15. Gonna be a long, cold winter if your a Chevy dealer who counts on small cars....
  16. Awesome!
  17. Trust me....when Honda engineers complain about building a Civic that weighs as much as a Buick skylark did in 1970.....ughhhh...ain't nobody gonna be happy with what comes down the pike. And the one thing that I think both you and cubitar would agree on...most Americans are sheeple....perfect for a car like the Camry....
  18. And once again the Koreans hand the Japanese their ass in a basket....this is just so much better than the Cube it's not funny....
  19. I've heard good tings about Santa Barbra as far as Cali goes....but way to expensive for me. I live in an 9 year old 4 bedroom house that's worth maybe 150K...in Santa Barbra the same house would be $800,000....and I can't make that kind of jack as an electrician or a refrigeration mechanic...
  20. It was the same sort of originality that struck me with that 66 corvette...that was the nicest, most original C2 Corvette I've ever seen, period. Too bad cars will never gain have the style of the Oakland or the 66 Corvette....
  21. Congrats DF....
  22. What did Sagan say about Billions and Billions...it seems to ring true here....
  23. Toyota and Honda do sell a lot more cars (mid size sedan) than Hyundai or Chevrolet. Aren't the Camry and Accord right behind the F150 as the best selling vehicles in the USA?
  24. Okay Balthazar, I loved that Corvette...but I think you just trumped me. THANKS for the pics...I loved THAT!
  25. There is a reason I don't live in Arizona....methinks Ohio is just fine. In another lifetime, or a parallel universe, I'd like a house in Palm Springs though, I think
