You got the mechanicals right first, which is the important part. So what is the next car you and Jessichan are going to buy? A RWD 300 since they are now so cheap? A gently used new Challenger? What are your thoughts...? Chris

Too funny... BMW builds some great cars, including several that GM has no direct competitor for. I don't fault anyone for driving BMW if it is based on product. Chris

Pimp My Ride!

I don't know, but everyone (almost) that I know who works for Honda just hates the styling on this car. We live in Central Ohio, which is pretty much Honda Land, and a lot of the local car guys and SCCA guys work for Honda. They are seriously pissed at Honda for building something this ugly, and I'm even talking about spouses and children of Honda employees. Honda has the best engeneering on the planet, IMHO...but styling keeps me from buying a single current production car. (the S2000 ended production in June IIRC.) But damn, if you could ust give these cars some stying we'd be in bidness... Chris

I was riding with a neighbor, and we were in a local area going one block away. We could see the damned sign for the street we wanted to go to, but the guy still used the NAV to get there. Amazing. Chris

Visiting my parents in North Carolina, and we just took a drive on the blue ridge parkway. Saw 4 really interesting and really different cars. Pristine, amazingly well restored and modded black advance design Chevy truck (49-55), a pristine, beautiful, and stock original 1970 240Z, what was obviously a very high dollar resto on a "king Cobra" Mustang II (go figure, but a nice looking resto job!) and a 65 Riviera that was a very well done rat rod. Also, nice to be driving through the south where pick up trucks are sweetly detailed, clean, and waiting in line for a new owner on dealer lots rather than rusted, abused, and sitting in the CFC line like they are in Ohio. Also drove around town with my mother in my Miata, followed an older couple in a C5 Vette ragtop. Gotta get a vette someday... Chris

G6 would be infinitely better than the Vue, IMHO. I would buy a g6 a million to one over a VUE. But that's just me. Chris
