  1. I would go with the correct style wheels as well. That car would look great as a period piece. Chris
  2. ...and your going to find another for sale that is virtually brand new when and where? Let's see what the market does with this. Chris
  3. Some day I'm going to own one as a Solstice GXP. That ecotech is one of the best mills GM ever came out with. Chris
  4. There is just something just ohhhh soooo right about poping a hood and seeing a big block or a tripower. My 55 Chevy had an offenhouser tripower intake on it. In some ways of all the cars I've owned, that was a favorite. Chris
  5. IMHO 45K is low for that car. If I had 45K and was a collector that would be a bargain for what it is. In ten years these cars may well be the Dusenbergs of the collector car market. In some ways, they already are. Have you seen what Shelby's and LS6 ragtops are bringing at B-J. Chris
  6. Put me down also as one who could have had a 396 wagon...with a damn 4 speed...when I was in high school. It was white with woodgrain body panels. Nice looking wagon. Another in a long (too long) list of cars I'll regret not buying on my deathbed. Chris
  7. I like it, but I'd rather have it as a plane jane 383 4 speed car in a high impact color. Chris
  8. Awesome truck. I had both a 70 and 71 Chevelle, and I like the 71 body style better. That truck is just damn near perfect. Chris
  9. Beautiful car. I'd rather own a Solstice and beat on it... But awesome car. Chris
  10. Low mile version of a rare car, some collector will pay it. What makes me sad is that this thing never got to be a car. I'd rather see it with 80,000 miles on it, and the patina of age, after having been beaten on at the local drag strip and driven on a couple of Hot Rod Magazine long haul tours. Cars are meant to be driven and abused, dammit. The only number We should be worried about with this car should have 1320 in the formula. Chris
  11. Never thought if this, like this idea. Chris
  12. Neat old Camaro and a 66 Baracuda Formula S on the way home also. Chris
  13. Saw this silver SSR driving home Friday. Chris
  14. I posted a pic of the Pontiac in the yard and the Buick by work, and everyone knows that you can't have a Pontiac and a Buick without an olds, saw this one also...
  15. That Camaro is great love it! Thanks for the pic, caddycruiser. Chris
  16. Oh, and a little G6 love from Ohio to you out east: Like I said, I love it as a convertible. Chris
  17. I;m in lust...big block 4 speed rust free GMC 3 quarter ton 4wd truck. Feel better, Roger?
  18. Bottom corner of the bed
  19. Oh and this is the bottom corner of the bed, look at how nice this truck really is.
  20. I don't hate the G6, I actually like it as a convertible. Some pics as an apology, sorry if I ticked you off.
  21. That bu looks good in white, IMHO. Chris
  22. After Cubical and blu talked about early 70's Buicks and Pontiacs, this showed up a few blocks from work: Note the strange bike mounting point on the decklid
  23. I think you'll wind up with a Bu, which is great, it is a fine car. Chris
  24. And glad she liked the Mustang converts... Chris
