  1. Someone ran into my car at my wife's work and didn't leave a note. As far as the MOPAR thing, I've known a few of the MOPAR guys to be rabid. I've told this story here before, but a few years ago a guy I know, real nice guy, drove his 69 SS/396 Chevelle (NICE car) up to the Mopar nats just to watch the Mopars cruise down Bethel road, which is a part of the Mopar nats. Bunch of Mopar guys started throwing beer cans at the guys car and calling it a piece of $h! and threatening a fight. Guy I know is a carpenter and a pretty big guy, but he was outnumbered so he just left. Really pissed when someone took a baseball bat to a co workers 4 day old HHR about a year and a half ago. People don't treat much of anything with respect. Chris
  2. Utterly gorgeous...I just love 50's cars...wish I was in a stage of my life to own one. Chris
  3. Are you thinking 2.0 turbo, perchance? Chris
  4. I like all of the pacecar vettes, including the C4. The C6 pace car is great also... Chris
  5. I like all of the pacecar vettes, including the C4. The C6 pace car is great also... Chris
  6. I ran an errand downtown today and saw one in what I think is the color your getting, GM4life. Very nice. Chris
  7. Your right, this is going to suck for a lot of small town and family dealers. Chris
  8. Very cool, actually. If work was more steady I would own one, but the economy has me down at the moment. Chris
  9. Hmmm...I used to listen to a lot of Kansas back when I was in school. Maybe I'll play some tonight before I go to bed. Chris
  10. +1 Chris
  11. 70's progressive works! Chris
  12. At least it's not the 79...my dad had a 79 88. I have lots of fun memories of high school dates in that car. It's amazing the number of girls you can molest in an Oldsmobile. Chris
  13. But Chrysler more than made up with it with the 3.5 As a former Concorde owner, all I can say is that your going to be very, very happy when you finish your swap. Hell, your making me wish I'd kept the Concorde and fixed it up. Chris
  14. My grandfather had a blue 54 Hudson Hornet. One of his best cars. Traded it on a 57 Olds ragtop that then got traded on a 59 Buick (yes, we've had a B-59 in the family I discovered) which then got traded on a buick 225 ragtop which then got traded on another buick 225 ragtop which he had when he died. My grandfather had great taste in cars. Had a neighbor once who had a restored two door hornet in a funky 50's green and white, beautiful car. Chris
  15. Camino...that would sound good with a 60's style alternative soft rock band backing it up. Chris
  16. Keep us posted. Although another Bonneville would be sweet also if this falls through. When I bought my Miata they had a Bonneville in maroon on the lot...sharp car. Sandstone is a decent Impala color...But that Bonnie looked soooo good in Maroon. for some reason GM cars just look "right" in dark colors. Chris
  17. Keep us posted, I hate having car problems like that. That Era Riv is one of my fav....I want to see it stay on the road. Chris
  18. They are following what they did for the 4th gen Camaro and Firebird, since it worked so damn well before. Will GM ever learn from its mistakes? Chris
  19. Camino-my wife drives a first gen xB. I agreed with you, and said that Scion would be a "one hit wonder." I would lay good money on the line that Scion will be gone in 5 years, probably sooner. Chris
  20. ...it's gonna happen. Question is, what will the automotive world be like a year from now for the domestics? Chris
  21. He still wants a Miata and he still has the Gutless Cutlass at home. RWD could outnumber FWD two to one in Cory's garage... Or if he gets a Genesis, it could be 50/50. All he would need then is an AWD Audi to have all of the bases covered. Chris
  22. Actually the MK3 Jetta is just an amazing car, light, drives well, neutral for a front wheel drive car, decent highway car. Been thinking I'd like to find a decent MK3 myself. Guy across the street from me has a red one like your old one, although it is a TDI. Myself, I'm not much for the Genesis sedan...but your thinking coupe, right? Chris
  23. The Impala is a nice family car... Chris
  24. (drove behind an xA in traffic coming home, passed an xD on the way to work) Let's just hope they take their current product lineup with them. Chris
  25. I actually saw three red Challengers today, two R/T models and one of the orangeish SRT8's. Chris
