ATTENTION Knightfan!
Off topic I know...but, ...and another rare MT Chevy I think I've told Ya'll about before. Back in 69 my friend Alan ordered a new 69 Camaro, red on red, with a 350 4v and a Close ratio 4 speed. He chickened out on the 350 and ordered a 307 instead, but forgot to change the tranny choice on the order form. That was probably the only red on red 307 4 speed 69 Camaro the general ever built! Sadly, Alan went blind a few years later and had to sell the car. Interestingly, he learned to play chess after he was blind and went on to play in the national blind chess championship several years in a row. Great guy! I'm glad he got to enjoy that Camaro before he lost his sight. Chris

There were MT cars in that gen I think also, but again very rare. Chris

ATTENTION Knightfan!
White car, black roof, black interior would be fine also. That was the way my 70 Chevelle was done, and I always thought that was a good looking combo. Chris

Showers don't just bring May flowers...
Wow, a Gallardo! Sorry to hear your car died Lamar, methinks both of us are in for an upgrade. Chris

Oh FlyBrian where art thou?
You boys need to take it out back and duke it out. When one of you knocks the other on his ass, get up, shake hands, dust yourselves off and come back in here and be Civil. Having owned a 70 and a 71 Chevelle with no "B" pillar, I can see Sixty-Eights point. Chris

Oh FlyBrian where art thou?
Given some of the delusional ideas we've posted here, why should we start wanting reality now? Esp. when making stuff up out of thin air is so much more fun. Chris

Pink Cavalier?!
There is a shop right down the street from Edison Electrical Supply, (down on McKinley) that has about a dozen GM cars like this in progress at all times. Every time I go pick something up for a job we have to go wire, I just want to weep. Today out front: Two Cutlasses similar to BV's. SS Monte of the 84-87 Variety Two Caprices 70's Impala 3rd gen Camaro. This look is sadly becoming very popular. Chris

The O.C. Might Have to Change His Name.....
Doubt I'd leave where you are now, but good luck and like Bob said, keep us posted! Chris

SATURN and GM CARD
Astra has got to be the most under rated car on the planet right now. GM really did a great job with this one. If the next Cobalt is anywhere near this damned good things are going to get ugly in the small car market. Chris

ATTENTION Knightfan!
It's a WOW car for sure, sity eight. and I have regretted not buying a couple of Black on black Monte's. They jsut look "right" that way. My son Joel loves black cars, so this would be a great father/son car for us. Gonna check and see when the auction ends. Chris

Only available in Salsa red though. Chris

Oh FlyBrian where art thou?
I know of a P.H.D. who drives a 3rd gen F-Body, so that would pretty much shoot that stereotype in the ass. Chris

Can I borrow your car for prom?
That's an excellent idea. Matt, one of our vendors has quite a little business doing just that. He has a Rolls used in Scarface or some other movie and a few other cool old cars. Coolest part is he gets MORE money out of the vintage stuff. Chris

Can I borrow your car for prom?
Jesus that would be so much better. Don't know what anyone sees in the Navi as a prom-mobile, but they are popular. I always hung out with the alternative punk rock/goth type people in High School, and wanted to take a hearse to prom. Now a 65 Caddy hearse, that would be classy AND unique. Chris

Interesting ebay picks for today
Speaking of Olds, there is a 71 Cutty ragtop that has had that treatment that is running around here in Columbus. Every time I see that thing I just wanna kill someone. Chris

Sweet! Thanks for posting that. Chris

Pink Cavalier?!
She's pink for sure. I saw the same thing done to a 59 Buick Invicta ragtop on a local car website. Chris

Oh FlyBrian where art thou?
Actually, this is one of the best car forums IMHO on the web. We have some people and their opinions, but still... This place, Miatanet, and Grassrootsmotorsports.com are the only real web forums I like. If you want stupidity, go to almost any of the Mustang Forums. (I say that and I am a big Mustang fan.) Stangnet isn't bad, but the rest....sorry. Chris

New to me car....
At least your working on a RWD car with room to work. That would be 4X the pain in the ARSE in a small FWD car. Chris
