  1. Congrats! Have fun with it!
  2. I'm trying to think of what it was called.... "Autronic Eye" or "GuideMatic" I believe
  3. Oooh, I love Bustlebacks!
  4. For all I know that could be this June.
  5. 85 Octane? Don't Have That Here. About 4.75/gal for 87 Octane here in Calgary.
  6. I was watching this on the news and they mentioned a few towns where the gang had been active in drowning college students: LaCrosse, WI Dubuque, IA St. Cloud, MN Minneapolis, MN New York City Metro Detroit, MI Tampa, FL Canton, NY I didn't catch the rest... It's really disturbing to say the least. The RCMP and City Police in Edmonton and Calgary are going over their case files, it may be that there were a few done here in Calgary *cringes*. At the very least, I know I'm safe from these thugs. I'm a teetotaler for life and would never fit the profile of someone they'd go after, but still... Jeez, I get a pit in my stomach thinking about it. Next year I'm a university freshman and this sort of thing always runs around in the back of my mind.
  7. The 2.8 would be great in the Invicta.... I think that the Malibu might benefit from said 2.8L as well...
  8. Moving Forward at a 60 Degree Angle
  9. So it's not just up here... My salesman said they had problems with a couple of FlexFuel Tahoes in Ontario, wrecked the engine.
  10. @ Ocn : Do I Smell a C&G Viral Advertising Project?
  11. +1 I can't stand coffee, I do drink quite a bit of tea.
  12. Wow... That's alot, more than I would have expected. I only pay 300/mo for the Cavalier for full coverage... full coverage on the Malibu and Impala go for about 52$/Month
  13. "Go Your Own Way" - Fleetwood Mac
  14. pacific
  15. Here Here... The Full Coverage on my Car costs about the same as the cars book value...
  16. What surprises me is the lack of love for 4-Door 1959 Caddies... They were better looking than the convertibles that have become so iconic.
  17. I would think so... If you hit someone in your own car you don't just leave it there knowing full well they'll trace the plates back to you.
  18. We don't have E85 Stations here... but I wouldn't want to put it in the Impala anyway. Apparently these "FlexFuel" engines aren't so good for carbon buildup on the injectors etc... with ethanol. Since the cost-benefit isn't really there I'd rather just keep the car running on what I trust.
  19. There is a silver lining to all this... Usually a streak of bad luck is followed by an INCREDIBLE stroke of good luck.
  20. I'm only going by the real world figures I'm getting when I drive the car from fill-up to fill up. From what I understand the EPAs for the Malibu V6 are a bit closer to real world.
  21. Both Cars have their own merits, The new Malibu is an awesome car, that has better dashboard materials than the Impala, but my allegiance has to slide to the car in my driveway. Here's a few merits from how I see it; -Clear, Conservative Instruments, Interior (Malibu is more showy, I'm not really a fan of that) -Fuel Economy (Malibu LT2 3.6L = 17MPG City, Our Impala 3.5L = 22MPG City) -Upholstery (Malibu cloth feels cheap, I question how easy the UltraLux is to clean) -Feels more traditional to drive, more solid (heavier doors, heavier steering, all register with me), some neat things that are well thought out like the Flip n' Fold back seat. -Made in Canada -Trunk Size (I cannot stress this enough. A 15 Cubic Ft. Trunk? Useless. Myself and the Family, all four of us took a week-long driving holiday this spring, when we got home, the trunk was packed so tight there was no space left. Fifteen cubic feet wouldn't nearly do the job that 18.6 is just capable of doing.)

  23. I don't think BV has a price range that wide...
  24. This is a pretty fair explanation of why near a hundred thousand people will look at the Malibu and the Impala and decide to get the Impala.
