  1. Balthy would like this more if the greenhouse were over the FRONT whills.
  2. Ah, I can't see the side grillework from your photo.
  3. Dfelt, do you have one single clue? Why would you post this in a thread about REPAIR FAILS? You are the king of off-topic posts in any given thread. Ach du lieber!
  4. Question: do you have to mix the gas and oil on the new Encore GX?
  5. Have you eliminated the 1939 LaSalle?
  6. You're pretty high off the ground
  7. The i4 is a joke. No need for it. Also those hunchback GT things, hideous contraptions with little redeeming value.
  8. Ugh, this thread has taken a turn for the worse.
  9. I haven't had fish sticks in a while. Maybe it is high time I put fish sticks on my grocery store list. I'll make stewed tomatoes on the side, of course. (Sry to take "random thoughts" off the topic of EVs)
  10. I'm checking out the Scotsman!
  11. And here I thought tiny turbos were "over", a thing discredited by reality... only here, they're going even further into the realm. The power figures sound good for the "Stage II" version, but I wonder what a modern, normally aspirated 2.0 would do in its place.
  12. You know when you pull a rump roast out of the oven and stick a fork in it?
  13. This thing is so right. I've owned 5 S-10 pickups brand new. This is my 4th Colorado. I may as well "do me". When I ordered my 2015, I ordered it in blue... when I got home from the dealer, they called me and said Laser Blue was not available yet for order, so I went with my second choice, Cyber Gray. Now, in 2019, I have the blue Colorado I wanted.
  14. Gladiator is a toy, plain and simple. Dodge needs a midsize truck. 275k sales in six munts bears that out. "Dakota" still holds a positive connotation with John Q. Public. There are plenty of reasons to choose a midsize truck over a fullsize. Towing or not Hauling a bunch of ppl or not Gas mileage (on mainstream engines) Maneuverability in tight spots Garageability Price Feeling cute, IDK, might hit a tight trail after work or on the wknds
  15. Over at the online order guide... the 2020 Acadia AT4 has the very same ground clearance as the rest of the trim levels, and reaches the very same overall height. Bummed. It's not even on par with the FWD-based Jeep Trailhawks in that regard... at least they have a tiny bit of extra height and clearance for bragging purposes.
  16. Got home and realized I picked up the wrong duct tape for a home project. Went back to Lowe's customer service desk. Lady said - "Is there anything wrong with it, or just no need for duct tape?" I said "Apparently, I picked up the wrong tape for the bondage party tonight..." Her eyes got big, she said "ohhh....." and she zoned out as she completed the return transaction. I let her stew for several seconds, feeling good about my devilish joke, then - "I was just kidding about that" She looked me over and replied, crushingly - "I figured..."
  17. Any vehicle I buy will have the ad ripped off immediately when I get it home. A good ROOF is of paramount importance.
  18. Gets the C&G Award for Most Improved Car Of The Year.
  19. Soooo... yeah Drew... maybe quarterly is best.
  20. Actually the material it takes to mix different colors varies widely in cost. However, I believe that those costs should be amortized over the entire spectrum. The fact that Chevrolet charges nothing for metallics on the Silverado (except for the red tintcoat and pearl white) and GMC charges 395, tells me it is an unnecessary money grab. My new truck is Kinetic Blue... a 395 option on the Colorado. I love the color, but would have happily gone with Pacific Blue and spent the 395 on accessories, like naked lady mudflaps.
  21. Hey Tanner, welcome. We have a spot where you can post pics of your ride if you like.
  22. What? That LT base price must be either of these two: A: Shipped to the customer's home without wheels and tires, or B: After incentives... which will probably not be the same on the diesel when it comes out.
  23. What's the name of the manual, "Driving And Texting For Dummies"?
  24. Oh, once it loses its soul, sales WILL taper off.
