  1. The G6 is a very interesting, appealing car, especially the coupe for my tastes. I wish there were a manual transmission available with the 2.4L in the sedan to match Accord.
  2. I have skim milk on my cereal and some sort of juice. Right now it's cranberry (not the overly-sugary cocktail). I don't like coffee. Hot, green tea with honey and a piece of candied ginger hits the spot on weekends when I have time to relax and enjoy it.
  3. Yeah, Doogie's been doing the Doggie. Not a huge shock as the gay press has been hinting at this for years. It's pretty hilarious to see the determined denial in the congregation members interviewed in the Evangelical leader's gay scandal... even after a partial admission right off the bat. Shades of "I did not inhale..." For me (and please don't be too angry with what I'm about to say), between this, other isolated incidents and the whole Catholic abuse debacle, organized religion has become a joke. The faithful look like fools in the face of all this. Believe in God if it is right for you, read your texts, interpret them for yourselves, but don't depend on others to dictate what your faith should look like. Which takes us back to this: real, secure straight guys are too busy chasing pu**y to even care what gay guys are doing. And that's just fine. It's all these overly-fascinated haters that you have to watch. They're like ticking time bombs, and it's sad.
  4. Roller Derby
  5. This is a fantastic vehicle, and I'm not really a 3 row SUV person. Excellent job, GM.
  6. Yes, that's it, Mr. Jacket. Compare this to the stock '94 S-10 ZR2. See how it is a bit more outrageous than the production truck. Front, sides, rear, all appreciably different, but the essence is there. (Neat sliding 3rd door!) Prediction: The '08 Colorado will be a toned down version of this concept. Use this S-10 as a point of reference. You can see realtime photos of the SEMA Colorado at Autoweek magazine's website show coverage.
  7. I saw a little article on that in Popular Science magazine. That's funny as heck. But... a key ring? The weight of that thing would pull the ignition switch right out of the steering column.
  8. This is an excellent idea. I'd like to enter a pic of my truck, but I don't know how to edit out the date stamp if I use my work camera to take the pictures.
  9. Control the pet population. Have your pet spayed or neutered.
  10. I'll send you the money if you promise to leave the wing in the box. :AH-HA_wink:

    Awww... :AH-HA_wink:
  14. "Clueless much, hotchili?" :AH-HA_wink: This is a great thread. More, please!
  15. If a guy on The Price is Right wins a 1974 Gremlin and jumps up and down, does that mean he's gay?
  16. I think Mr. Dart got more than he bargained for in this thread. I know I did! :AH-HA_wink:
  17. plaque (no bite from me on "manhole", I don't want to get bit back unnecessarily simply for responding to the invitation.)
  18. I am a current, satisfied owner of a 2004 Colorado. I voted "Strongly Agree", this should be the 2008 Colorado, with some minor revisions for production. For example, the fenders and bedsides should be normal width (they are widened for the show truck-size tires), the rear bumper should be a separate piece like the current truck, instead of molded in, and the front end should be similar to the concept, but made practical for production. And this is the first time I've said this... but since the 5.3 with AFM is rated for the same gas mileage in the 900s as the 3.7L 5 in this year's 355s, it should be an option. 4, 5 and 8 cylinder engine options would be a competitive advantage for the 355s.
  19. C&G, you look better than ever, thanks to some dedicated individuals.

  21. Oh, thanks so much Croc, I really dint want to see OJ naked. Oh, my eyeballs!
  22. How about this: think of concept vehicles as "slingshots". The purpose of a concept vehicle is to push the design envelope, to shock the onlooker, to polarize public opinion. Then, for production, the final design is brought back from the extreme just enough to appeal to more people on both sides of the fence. The first glimpse has to be a shock to gain attention and force an emotional response. I am remembering an S-10 concept truck, painted chartreuse and black, that previewed the new-for-1994 production truck. It was wild, eliciting much the same passionate response as this Colorado concept. Then the design was tempered for the assembly line. This is just one example, as just about every concept vehicle is used for this purpose. Concept vehicles are useful tools for manufacturers to advance their design language and make something "new" stick in the public's mind, but they're almost always made more "sane" for production.
  23. 1971 Buick Riviera with MaxTrac... electronic traction control!
  24. When I was a kid, my grandfather milked Bessie every morning, a Guernsey cow. She was a gentle old girl. We put her milk through a strainer and stuck it in the fridge, had to shake it up to drink it. That stuff was rich. Now, I'm the opposite. I drink skim, anything else tastes "thick" and a little disgusting.
  25. Damn you, Mr. Jacket. I could sit and read these all frickin' night. :AH-HA_wink:
