  1. Roger that.
  2. The new Tundra looks like an Atomic Tadpole. No thanks. :AH-HA_wink:

I'd like to see a Monte Carlo on Zeta, but it has to be its own car, it cannot be diluted to try to "fill in" for a hole in the lineup. Camaro is the sports car, Monte Carlo is the luxury sport coupe... two different markets, allowing room for both.

YES, Camino. The current Monte Carlo has strayed too far from the original concept. The stripes are another totally incongruous element. They are doing their best to morph this current car into what will come next, even as they destroy every last vestige of what it means to be a Monte Carlo. Can you say... Chevelle?
  5. I think the original Bronco came out in '66. I'd like to see pictures of that GM concept. Seeing old prototypes and design proposals is always entertaining. Not sure what the harm was, I was hoping to hear the reason as well.
  6. Nice pictures, speedy! I love that photo effect that forces your eye to zoom in to the intended subject. Cool man.
  7. Very strong design. These trucks are typical excellent GM trucks. I also hoped the 4.3L V6 would be laid to rest for the 4.2L I-6. And I was hoping the 6 speed auto would be available at the start, with the 900 SUVs in production already. Very good differentiation between the two. I want to see the GMC SLE trim, it probably has chrome bumpers and a horizontal bar blacked-out grille. I like the fact the sheetmetal is different from the beltline down between Chevy and GMC. The interior is excellent from what I can see. I guess the nice-looking 5 spoke Chevy wheels are the 18 inchers. 20's aren't necessary for me, I guess. I hope they still make a 6 foot bed/regular cab configuration. Next step is to see the equipment levels through the different models.
  8. With all those parts unattached, it seems your job will be easier building the car the way you want it. I am sure you're grinning ear-to-ear right now. You deserve it.
  9. The rims look pretty small in diameter. It shows me that these tall-ass rims do nothing for performance, they may actually hurt it.
  10. These chops are looking good, guys. Nos, for yours, your GP, maybe stick the Solstice's fender scallop on instead of the Aussie version, and you need Ventiports on your awesome Buick. Your Chevelle is interesting... but it looks too "Euro" to be a Chevy, imho. To be totally honest, the cars are crisply tailored and look great as Holdens, but I hope they are all completely reskinned for each US division, even the Pontiacs.

Or he woke up next to "her", still sleeping, and sees something poking out from under her lacy teddy...

Ew, serious? You can get them on the six cylinder? If they had to offer such a thing (this is still a luxury sport coupe, not a Cobalt or Camaro, sheesh), they at least ought to have enough respect to only put it on the V8 model.

I see the Monte Carlo is available with a Rally Stripe option for '07, either black or silver. (Dual racing stripes up-and-over, and down over the trunk lid.) It is shown in the picture of the various colors available for the new year.
  16. Just back from Chevy's "build & price" situation, and on the 2007 Cobalt SS/SC options list is the lower-profile T43 spoiler, priced at $0. I know in years past, when new model year info was first posted, it was sometimes incomplete and even wrong in spots. I'd like to know if anyone in sales can confirm this spoiler option. I'd really like to see a spoiler delete option... or make the wing a dealer-installed thing like the ION Redline, so the customer has a chance to decline it. I saw a black '07 Redline at the local dealer, and it looks so much better with the ground effects and fat tires pulling it visually to the ground, unfettered by the wing that adds unnecessary height. ALSO: I don't see the Performance Package listed... limited slip diff and Recaro seats. This would be a must-have option package for me. What gives? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
