  2. What the hell are you guys talking about?
  3. Somehow I just cannot picture the Movano with a porthole window, Cragars, and airbrushed, topless Viking chicks. It just doesn't work in my mind's eye.
  4. Good news for GM. The Charger results also caught my eye.
  5. Okay Igor. 25.6 inches of headroom in the Tahoe? That's definitely a kid or dog seat, bleh. My problem is also, like those old 3-seat wagons, it seems unsafe to put kids that close to the rear end in case of accident. And they are easier to tend to from the front if they're in the second row. I'd rather have a larger cargo area (with hooks for grocery bags, and a net to secure small things) than a seat in the way that would never get used. I actually like the 5, except for the massive, trendy taillights. I really like the fact that a good percentage I've seen on the lot are 5 speeds. I like the interior. I just happen to like the HHR more. 175hp is a nice, round number, and with the addition of black as an interior color option for '07, that kind of clinches it for me. My "build & price" object d'amour right now is an HHR 2LT, Imperial Blue with Ebony leather, polished wheels, roof rails, and sunroof.
  6. This brings up another point: speed limiters. I am interested in finding out why some cars have them and some don't. Does Honda have them? VW doesn't, that I know of. I vote to ban speed limiters on vehicles. All this B.S. about tire speed ratings, WTF izzat? Shoot, in the old days, people used to test the limits of their cars on bias-ply tires, four wheel drum brakes, etc. Now we have all these nannies "protecting" us, and guess what? People still wreck their cars. No freakin' way a Hyundai Sonata is gonna go 147.
  7. tmp, I also heard that about sushi after I apologized to someone for eating it with my fingers because the fork destroyed it. Learning new things is good, no doubt, but eating with chopsticks just isn't something I'm interested in.
  8. The Parts Manager at the local HONDA dealership drives a '93 Cavalier wagon. It's a V6/5 speed, painted Arrival Blue with Z24 ground effects on it, lowered suspension, and Beretta rims. He's got an exhaust system on it that really brings out the little six's growl. He loves it. I myself have always liked the Cavalier wagons, and wouldn't mind having a V6 one as a second vehicle.

  12. According to the former Green Beret, Clay was a rough top with him. The story grossed me out in its detail. Clay Aiken scares me. He's eville.
  13. This is the first I've realized you're older than I am, Vipes.
  14. Need some reparative therapy? :AH-HA_wink:

  16. I guess I'm not alone then. I will not buy clothes with the brand name displayed on the outside, like I want everyone to know where I shopped. That's kind of snobby.
  17. Yup, former Green Beret as well, according to his Stern interview.
  18. And it also makes cubed ice... Cool, can we see the whole thing now?
  19. Can you take out the 3rd row? So many 3-row vehicles have a totally useless third row, and the 5 appears to be one of them.
  20. Oy, I started turning gray when I was 18. They say baldness is inherited from your mother's side... but my maternal grandfather was bald by age 23. My paternal grandfather was gray by 30... so I take after him, gladly.
  21. When did it debut? I thought Hitler was directing Dr. Porsche well before then on the volks wagen.
  22. Satty, that's because they're in mid-poop. All the babies on diaper packages are in mid-poop. I thought you'd like to know since you'll be experiencing that look very soon and very often.
  23. Oh God, that People cover is horribly funny. Sets us back, oh... 20 years. Sigh.
  24. I eat sushi with my fingers and I don't mix my wasabi into my soy sauce, I cut a snippet off with my fork and eat it straight, little by little. If I'm paying for it, I'll eat it the way I want.
