I can't think of a more draining, exhausting experience than the roller coaster these poor families have been on. All over a misheard cell phone conversation. My heart goes out to them.
  3. Dude, I'm talking about you. Fully clothed. We still need permission?
  4. Hmmm... 1953... it would have to be a panel delivery, wouldn't it? Did they still make a Business Coupe by then, with carboard panels where the back seat would be, for travelling salesmen and the like?
  5. I say leave Satty alone. Let's continue the C&G tradition of mutual respect for members.
  6. On the subject of Art Deco, it reminds me of a GM Futurliner.
  7. Question: when do we get to see testicles? Post a photo, please! :)

  11. I sat at home all night NYE and moped over someone.... NYD I went to mom's for NY lunch (pork & sauerkraut, tradition), then I went to the movies. But that's for a different thread.
  12. I had to shoo a couple of double-hump camels out of my basement family room the other week, other than that, not much.

Yes, you are correct in saying the Golden Globes haven't been held yet. Sorry for misinterpreting that. I guess I'm just excited about it. It has already won numerous "best" awards from regional film critics associations across the country, so far. You are also correct in saying that the characters didn't always do what we hoped they would. For me, though, that just made them more real, because when confronted with an altered reality, we can't always predict what will happen. OK, enough seriousness... I bet you got a lot of admiring glances in that theater, din't you, turbo? Come on, tell us! :AH-HA_wink:

It has already won 7 Golden Globe awards, which is usually a stepping stone to Oscar.

  20. I saw Fox Mulder's butt. :)
  21. Well Ross, I wasn't able to do what I set out to do. I was going to run your VIN on DCS (Dealer Communication Services, an internal GM website), but, alas, the car is too old. If the car were new enough, I could run a complete build sheet and a warranty history on your VIN. PYO is your wheel code, so I called our parts counter. The guy gave me some part numbers. Your wheel had a first and second design, both of which are discontinued. The first design had a part # change. First: 12536285 Second: 9592762 First after # change: 25557916 He found some dealers showing stock. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
  22. Was he cute, this FBI guy?

  25. Bullshit, avro. I got Eaton Locker in the Colorado. Only thing that's gay is, with the new tires, it won't spin a wheel on dry pavement anymore. <_<
