  1. I'd love to be able to afford to build a house just the way I want it. Sometime in the future, knock on wood. Looks great, lakefire. This place is coming along, slowly. I still have work to do downstairs in the family room. I had my new entry door put in on the 23rd, and today I bought new shutters for the front of the house and a new exterior light fixture for over the new door.
  2. Poor Nos, he just cannot win with you guys.
  3. I've just seen my future vehicle, and it is absolutely effing drop dead gorgeous, masculine, sexy, tough. It's all I've been hoping for. If this is an indicator of the passion Bob Lutz has brought to GM Design, we ain't got nothin' to worry about. The wait will be agonizing. Should I get a base Cobalt coupe now, so I can save big bucks for a down payment for this beauty? Cuz I'll tell you right now, I'm going to have one! (I haven't shot this far in a looong time. Bravo, Chevrolet!)
  4. "Refinement does not equal longevity." Would you rather drive a purely silent appliance, or do you enjoy the feeling of machinery under you? I love to "throw the coal" to an entertaining mechanical symphony under the hood. Some people prefer to be far away from any hint of the oily bits. Which do you prefer? Why?
  5. I would go with the Camaro. Nissan is ok with me, but the Chevrolet has advantages that are hard to ignore. It will be less expensive to repair. Parts are more readily available. It's a less complicated design. Sports cars seem to be victims of their drivers, no matter what brand they are, they all get abused, or worse, wrecked and put back together in a questionable manner. No matter which one (Camaro) you choose, have a mechanic and an experienced bodyman look it (Camaro) over. Best of luck in your decision!
  6. I've smoked the stuff, maybe on five different occasions in my life. Except for the legality of it all, I don't see a big deal. It made me quite randy, from what I remember. It also made me feel very mellow and relaxed. This is NOT a recommendation, merely my experience. I haven't done it since... whoa, last summer at a local barn jam party. I personally believe that alcohol has ruined many more lives than pot ever did. I believe marijuana should be legalised and regulated. All our current laws do is clog up the justice system. I do not believe marijuana is a "stepping stone" drug.
  7. "Sexy barfly grannies...." Does anyone else find that picture entirely too disturbing? It makes me want to run! :P
  8. Aww, Nos, you noticed. :AH-HA_wink: The poster photo does look like it was taken by someone who is down on their knees... for some reason...
  9. I definitely need to get back in shape. When cold weather comes, I cut down on my routine, and I can really tell. Maybe I should join a gym.
  10. Everything's rusty in Pennsylvania. <_< :)
  11. My truck will be 2 years old at the end of this month. Right now it has 29,800 miles. I have had a sunvisor retainer clip replaced, and an HVAC blower motor replaced under warranty. I am on my second set of tires due to my own neglect (never rotated), plus the alignment was out. I do have some shake/rattle issues at the doors. I am going to try to dress the weatherstrips to see if that reduces the noise. I drive this truck like a maniac.
  12. I don't drink many sodas at all. Way too much sugar. If I have a soda, it'll be diet, and diet sodas leave an aftertaste, so... I prefer unsweetened iced tea if ordering out. I keep a jug of Dannon spring water in my fridge all the time, in the clear plastic bottle for reduced plastic taste. If I were to order a beer, which is totally a rare thing, it would be Guinness, although it's hard to get it at the right temperature. I would leave it on the table for a while to "warm up", because the full, rich flavor comes out. Now I've put myself in the mood for a nice cup of hot green tea, with a small dollop of honey and a piece of candied ginger.
  13. There was a problem with the finish on the current flying buttress/side compartment material, Cadillac sent out a TSB. Hopefully the new materials are more durable. The flying buttress, for me, ties this new truck to the old one too tightly.
  14. Certainly alcohol is a drug, caprice.
  15.   :AH-HA_wink:

    Pictures!

Plumber's cleavage, on the right person, is always entertaining.
  17. Well, I guess it's time to pop a "serious cap" into someone's ass. :AH-HA_wink:
  18. Too leisurely... only because it's not a regular cab.
  19. I like it. Really want to see photos of the 4 door.
  20. This is very interesting... WHO IS WPBHARRY???
  21. Welcome back, daves87.
  22. In a case like this, it is appropriate to smack her silly.

    Jack & Ennis

Has anyone seen the hilarious film clip parody on the net... "Bareback Mountin'"? It's about a secret love between a man... and his horse. FUNNY!
  24. cool!
  25. I think these new SUVs actually appear smaller than the previous generation, and I believe it was intentional. I love the Chevrolet versions. I don't care for the GMC, but the Cadillac is nice.
