  1. I am eager to see the GMT900 pickups... I just know they'll be hot!
  2. If you don't tell us, you will be tied down and tickled for a half an hour, or until you spill it, whichever comes first.
  3. Damn, look at those abs! She'd put a hurtin' on ya.
  4. "Vitamin water ice cubes"... that's SOOO California... :AH-HA_wink:
  5. Yup, Borders Books, in the periodicals I was, looking at the car magazines (with my back to the gay magazines) when these two guys, dressed up-to-the-minute, 20-something, walk up to the gay magazine section. One of them pulls up a copy of "Gay Times" and laughs. They both look at the dude on the cover, then laugh again. "Hey, we should send in a subscription for (insert a missing friend's name here). That would be hilarious! We could put his address on it and everything!" They linger there, then move on... I need to ask a question here... what's the fascination? Would they have had as much fun looking at a yoga magazine? A magazine on knitting, rock climbing, or dogs? Why must this subject elicit so much nervous laughter among some guys? Unless "society" is keeping them from doing what they want to do. I cannot think of another esplanation, Lucy. Can you?
  6. OMG that magazine is hilarious. You have quite an extensive collection of all things "gai", WMJ. Perhaps a sheep will tide you over until you meet a nice girl? Anything to keep your mind off the gay stuff for a while. :AH-HA_wink: Happy Birthday, Crocodile Dum E! (Sorry, it just popped into my head at the last minute, but the wish is there, curly.)
  7. I had a delicious Bison Bleu burger today at TGI Friday's.
  8. Real wrestlers are cool. This "WWF" and the like is sooo dumb, it's thinly veiled softcore gay porn... don't the fans realize?
  9. HA! Good one, TR. C'mon guys, it's not like Sixty8 popped his camera phone over the stall wall. It's on the road, she's fully clothed, he'll never see her again. What's the harm?
  10. Duh, I just realized that's a scale model in your sig, Harley.
  11. I always liked the looks of the first Vegas, with their "baby Camaro" face. Too damn bad about every other aspect of the car.

    2008 Malibu

I liked the new Malibu when it first came out. Its upright stance and rear end styling reminded me of the '55 Shoebox. The front end never really gelled in my mind. The '06 front end is little better. I am liking the car less with each model year. The time is ripe for the GM Design reawakening to trickle down to the bread and butter cars.

    Peugeot 207

As a rule, I prefer European cars to Asian cars, for their brave, interesting style. This Pug is no exception.
  14. A different twist, eh? Well, I hope it's not suicide doors. If it is, they need to do much more work to stiffen the body to make up for the loss in structure, based on what's out there now.
  15. Exactly, avant1963! I love that Dodge concept. And surprise, it's a regular cab. I think it'd be a cool new segment. If we weren't so scared of our heritage, it could be called Chevrolet Apache. How is that name even remotely offensive?
  16. I briefly met Chevyguy2000 at Carlisle last year, and of course, our boy Sixty8. Missed out on meeting B&BL and Camino because of a scheduling conflict. I have a long list of folks I'd like to meet from here.
  17. Interesting how the "new face of Subaru" looks so much like "the old face of SAAB"... like it was GM's doing during the shortlived linkup. I am sitting here with a car in my head. A G6 GTP coupe, painted in a garish gold metalflake, with white tuck-n-roll interior, shaved headrests, and lots of chrome. Airbag suspension with 20" spinners. So-Cal, baby.
  18. What I am proposing is a pickup smaller than a Colorado, something that is functional, yet fun and appealing. Something economical and inexpensive to buy and maintain. To be relevant, it has to be different from its larger brother, otherwise there's no point. Perhaps the Colorado needs to be upgraded a bit to allow room for the smaller truck. I retract my statement about "no extended cab", there should be an extended cab available, but without the pretense of back seats. Just open it up for lockable storage and more front seat travel. What I have in my mind as a model is the basic, shortbed, Iron Duke powered S-10 that proliferated in the 80's and early 90's. They were everywhere, and served a noble purpose. And with that engine they ran forever... the head gasket blowing 2.2L that came later just didn't have the same guts. The 2.2L and 2.4L Ecotecs would do fine for what I'm looking for. They already have a RWD version in the Kappa cars. Of course, a bit of design flair to go along with your economy would help. I think there is a market for a more basic, yet fun, and small truck here in the states, for young people and those desiring a functional second vehicle.
  19. It certainly does lend a sense of optimism. The Enclave is a great looking vehicle.
  20. Oh hush, Viper. Clean is where it's at.

    get to know me!

Agreed, TR, that dude in the top pic is very cute.
  22. "I know what they got in Mexico for boys like you, bobo!" :AH-HA_wink:
  23. "But thanks anyway!" said Viper. Son, don't forget your manners.
  24. GM interior design has been similar for decades, across the divisions. If you look at a '72 Cadillac DeVille dash, it looks pretty similar to a '72 Impala dash, and so on. I like this new GM phase.
  25. Think of it... 2800 4 cylinder engine only, with dimensions like a first-gen S-10. RWD /4WD chassis, of course, no pansy FWD chassis. No crew cab, no extended cab, just a regular cab with some space behind the seat to hide your stuff. Prices would start dirt cheap, so that everyone who has an occasional need for a truck could afford one as a second vehicle. Trucks have good profit potential. This would be great.
