ocnblu replied to William Maley's topic in Fiat
Love the idear of an inline six, and I would drive one if it becomes available unfettered with e-torque... but it will never take the place of the Hemi in America.- 26 replies

GMC News: GMC Offers A Performance Pack For Sierra AT4
ocnblu replied to William Maley's topic in GMC Trucks
That is what AT4 is for. Unless their plans have changed, a GMC spokesmodel stated that every GMC model would get an AT4 variant. I can't wait to see the Granite AT4 and the Terrain AT4. -

Jaguar News: Rumorpile: Jaguar Land Rover May Slash 5,000 Jobs
ocnblu replied to William Maley's topic in Jaguar
Well, people mispronounce the name of my town (the oldest inland city in the US) often if they don't live here. I've always said "JAGWAHR", but the Brits (and it is their car) say it differently. I think the Brits say it properly because it is their car.- 16 replies

Jaguar News: Rumorpile: Jaguar Land Rover May Slash 5,000 Jobs
ocnblu replied to William Maley's topic in Jaguar
First off, nations need to be able to govern themselves. They need to guard their sovereignty. Secondly, if they die before they go electric, they can still salvage some fond memories of enthusiasts.- 16 replies

Nissan News: Nissan's U.S. Push Caused A Lot of Tension Back At Home
ocnblu replied to William Maley's topic in Nissan
It is more clear all the time what is actually going on here. I've said it over and over. His family states he did not get paid. Renault cannot find fault. Nissan looks much worse than Ghosn. Racists.- 5 replies

Not shocked that my point was missed. THOSE ARE NOT MY KEYS. It has to be something else because those are not my keys. Gee... I wonder what it could be... hmmm...- 70 replies

Not everything smells of electricity at a Tesla black hole/retail experience location. Diesel trucks fetch them off the roads when they have problems, of which there are many.

Oh of course, there's no other explanation.

Hyundai News:Hyundai Cans Santa Fe Diesel For U.S.
ocnblu replied to William Maley's topic in Hyundai
Diesel power built (and continues to build) this country. It built the house you live in. It hauls your food. I would like to see you give up everything diesel power has provided for you. -
Ford Ranger FX4 is almost 2 inches taller than Chevy Colorado Z71, but about 2 inches shorter in extended/Super Cab guise. My 2015 Colorado barely fit in my garage, height-wise. I had to get a shorter (and less effective) aftermarket radio antenna for it.

To clarify: there are three types of Clarities. Plug-in hybrid, electric, and fuel cell. Well you're WRONG. But they are GIGANTIC in person, parked next to the outgoing style on the sales lot. More than I need, really. I shudder to think how big the bad-ass, retro-futuristic 2020 HD series will look in person.

Why would anyone buy a weird ass Clarity when the Insight is cheaper, better looking and gets better mileage? But... this is the Tesla customer. Through and through. 24/7. All day, every day. Neurons misfiring from the get-go. You know... all that and more.

Growing up on the farm, we had several Honda 3-wheelers and 4-wheelers (Big Reds) and they were a heck of a lot of fun. So then it is not a surprise to me that I feel, out of the Asian automotive brands, Honda has enough redneck DNA and long-time presence in America to interest me a bit.
