  1. Right. When a crew cab Colorado Z71 is the same price or less than a Bolt while being way more versatile, and the Colorado sells at a profit while the Bolt sells at a yuge loss, it should lead us to question how this plan is going to work. Tax breaks are not sustainable to force people to change to the more expensive option. Then you have the problem of standardization of chargers. There needs to be a uniform type of charging apparatus. All these fiefdoms competing with each other simply muddy the waters.

    New Ram HD

It is far from all-new. Still has the old cab. Heck, even the bedside panels look the same with new taillights and rear bumper. Only thing I see new is the front clip.
  3. Riv, I agree witchoo, one has to be dense to choose an electric vehicle.
  4. (continued...) No harmonic balance, no travel range... must I keep going?
  5. Takes too long to replenish. Sameness across all makes and models/complete homogenization. Quick obsolescence. No noise. No soul. No joy. No infrastructure. I could go on and on and on.
  6. How embarrassing. Here's a new official photo of Oppenheiser from GM's "get to know us" website:
  7. No benefit to the system. Ram Rebel E-torque is rated for 22 MPG and gets 17.5 in real world testing over to the TFL... worse than the high-powered 6 cylinder in the Raptor and the good ol' 5.3 in the Chevy Trail boss. All that for a hefty price premium over the normal Hemi. LOL.
  8. They're trying to make these oddballs more palatable for normal, productive members of society. Like putting sugar on top of cough syrup on the spoon.
  9. After seeing the HD High Country, I have to say the front end looks like a very high stack of cardboard sheets. I prefer the LT by a country mile. It just looks industrious. Regular Cab LT 2500HD 4X4... *swoon*
  10. My problem with Mazda is their relentless pursuit of "urban" style in their vehicles. They have nothing that is country-fied, like me. I do think they're purdy but they just don't fit my personality. The old B-Series truck and the Tribute were the last Mazdas that were remotely suited to country life. New ones are so cute I'd be afraid to get them dirty.
  11. Remember the Chevy Tracker? It was a tough little hombre. This could have been a new Tracker if GM had learned from their mistakes with Suzuki and let them engineer their own stuff instead of pushing junkass Daewoos and early Thetas on them. https://youtu.be/M6OSnp8pfXI
  12. Question: how come Honda uses one AWD system in their Passport that is torque vectoring and can deliver power to one wheel with the best grip... but Chevrolet uses an inferior AWD system on the lesser Blazer AWD trims? Honda's system similar to Chevy's on the RS and Premiere is standard issue on the cheapest AWD Passport. What gives?
  13. What a load of BS! You choose any crack to try to wedge this crap in!
  14. Perfect illustration of the fact that you CANNOT HELP SOMEONE WHO WILL NOT HELP THEMSELVES.
  15. *You're... jeez I gotta do this again for you?
  16. If I try my damnedest to be fair, the Chevy Impala went out of production in 1985, returned for 1994-1996, left, only to reappear again in 2004. It is a real shame about the latest model though, as it is a real beauty... even convincing the (guilty as sin of hating on domestics) "Consumer Reports" magazine to name it as best in class.
  17. Nissan was asked about it by auditors in 2013. The auditors were told everything was copacetic. It all reeks of a setup. And the announcement wasn't anything important anyway, the arrest is just an excuse. Who cares about the Nissan Leaf anyhow?
  18. So dfelt is THANKFUL for this?
  19. "Not true" and then you proceed to agree with everything I said. WTH are you talking abote?
