Yes, as factory-installed items... but Chevy is selling them over the counter (those Centennial emblems).

Wrong-o Buckaroo. It is the Tesla Model S, Model 3 and Model X, plus the Datsun Leaf and Chevrolet Bolt that run on coal. -

Reason #563 to hate CVT transmissions: Motor Trend did a comparison test of the Subaru Crosstrek, Jeep Compass Trailhawk and Nissan Rogue Sport. (They chose the Subaru with a weak argument over the Jeep) But the Nissan, in a light off-road course, bogged down to the point of coming to a complete halt in sand, despite all manner of button pushing on the part of the test driver. Could not spin a wheel to save its pathetic life. SRSLY? You are going to continue to foist this crap on people, Nissan? I can think of NO good points of a CVT, and nothing magnifies the suckage as loudly as this example.

Real folks do. The ones who keep this great country operating. Breadwinners. Hard workers. Americans. However, pantywaists may not. Not sure. I'm not into them.

Yes that is what I'm saying. But you're throwing out hypotheticals so the point is moot. I'm looking at factual data to support what I'm saying... without diarrhea of the mouth like ahem that one Canadian dude in here with the wadded, bloody pantie liners.

See now I prefer the blocky older model before the refresh of the old model. It was distinctive and although it rides low, it somehow avoids the 9 months pregnant look of the new one. New one looks like it is trying not to poop its pants with those headlights. And those high, blind sides, especially at the quarters, turn me off big time. If you have a new Terrain you may as well drive a windowless van... they have similar visibility levels.

And even with Ford GIVING them away... no takers. Huge clue for braille users on the subject. FCA LOSING $20k PER UNIT on 500e... GM LOSING $9k PER UNIT on Bolt... what auto exec in their right mind would support this? It is business suicide... plain and simple. And listen up... GM NEEDS to sell MORE HIGH PROFIT vehicles, like full size trucks and SUVs with smallblock V8 engines, to SUBSIDIZE the tiny, TINY amount of Bolts they sell... THE WHOLE THING IS HILARIOUSLY SELF DEFEATING. And to think there are people here who think this can in any way shape or form actually work.

Different buyer demographic perhaps, with different perspectives on useless, dangerous gadgets.

24 miles each way, 5 days a week. I usually choose between 3 routes. One is congested suburban 2-lanes merging onto a 65 MPH 4 lane. One is a suburban 2-lane through several small towns with a few stop lights in each town. And one is a short suburban hop to a country 2-lane with a 50 mph limit and everyone goes 60, then onto a short suburban stretch into work. I can tell you my favourite way to go is the latter route. All of them take about 35 minutes to complete due to varying degrees of congestion *cough*. Overall usually about 18k per yerr.

One of Drew's apologies for weak electric sales penetration was odd appearance of the big players. So I met him at that juncture.

VW E-Golf, Focus Electric and 500E all look largely identical to their normal counterparts, yet they sell abysmally. Mercedes has reduced the number of Smart dealerships to coincide with Smart's dumb move to all-electric... to adjust for demand. Your argument is silly. I believe that would be your mother.

I wonder how this is going to work with the continued weakness in public interest for electrics? It's clearly "cart before the horse" and a bit suicidal. Government regulation is not the same thing as consumer demand.

A Cruze Diesel manual hatch is a very tempting little bruiser... in all black. Seems the diesel model comes with the 18" wheels of the Premiere trim, and I think they redeem the whole car's looks. Plus... 48 MPG on the sticker likely means 50+ in the real world, if it performs as admirably as other diesels I've had.
