This tank, which was strictly a work commute with a bit of running around over the weekend: 380.6 miles, 11.833 gallons, for 32.164286 MPG. Who can argue? I can't.

My boss bought one that was traded on a Genesis. Original owner had it murdered out, and the radio was on the fritz. I think it's fixed now, and since he peeled some of the plasti-dip off, it's now only an attempted murder.

Nissan News: Rumorpile: Good-Bye Juke, Hello Kicks?
ocnblu replied to William Maley's topic in Nissan
I always thought the Juke resembled a radioactive bunnyrabbit from spaaaaace. The Kicks looks better, but it needs AWD as an option... FWD-only also kills Toyota's Coupe High-Roof. -

Chrysler News: Spying: Chrysler 300 SRT Sporting A Hellcat Motor
ocnblu replied to William Maley's topic in Chrysler
Just filled up on Thursday. 33.6 MPG. 2017 Jeep Compass Latitude 4X4 with six speed manual. I'd say that is more than competitive. -
This tank (which includes a 200-mile round trip Mother's Day jaunt to Maryland) 402.8 miles. Took 11.971 gallons, calculating to 33.647982 MPG!!!

First longer road trip yesterday, 190 miles mostly highway, dash readout says 33.4. Astonishing to me. My expectations were tempered by this little bruiser, which gave me 19.5 MPG... I am absolutely tickled to death with these mileage figures. Turning over 1300 miles soon... already!

VW News: As the Diesel Emits: Volkswagen's Fixed TDIs Are Hot Sellers
ocnblu replied to William Maley's topic in Volkswagen
Purely political. There are deranged forces afoot attempting to force people into the fatal compromise of electrics. Time and time again the public shows little interest in electric cars... and this is all over the world. The Chinese are also showing "tepid at best" interest in silly electric cars that strip freedom and are a blatant waste of money.- 14 replies
