  1. Datsun + body kit = MEH Here's a better photo of a Colorado instead of the purposely white on white, unflattering post above.
  2. Please help me out by posting the commanding percentage of the overall market that hybrids and full electrics represent in 2016.
  3. No I'm just a realist. And you should keep your Jetta.
  4. Just goes to show that in 2016, electrification is still seen as a far-out fringe novelty that no one wants.
  5. It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! Seems like it was time to escape from Ford. I hope this one is better.
  6. Just wait until you get to the "O".
  7. Shoot I had the Civic in my head when I was planning this thread, then I forgot it. Local dealer has two Sport hatches with the center exhaust pipes, and a couple of EX's. The Civic hatch is actually pretty cheap. But ugly as sin. I do like the battleship gray color though. To me the Sentra just looks old as heck. Adding a hatch to the current bodystyle is not going to happen, I was just saying they are letting their compacts ROT, and the SR Turbo is not going to breathe much life into the dowdy Sentra. The Versa, while fine for my mom in hatch guise to run back and forth to the grocery store... is just not compelling in any way shape or form. I do love the new Micra, it actually reminds me of a fetal version of the Murano. I don't remember seeing the latest Pulsar.
  8. Everything from the fenders forward is different between Chevy/GMC. The bedsides are different. The taillight cutouts are a different shape. In addition, on the previous gen trucks, the tailgates were different. I will have to look at the new trucks again to see if there is a difference in the tailgates, but I think, without verifying, that they are the same. GM is working toward making the trucks less identical than in decades past. As far as interiors, all except for the highest trim levels are the same between GMC and Chevy... except for badging, and maybe a wood tone trim piece v. a silver painted.
  9. So it goes inside the hat, where it meets the skull. Sweet!
  10. Yessir please
  11. Wings I like the current Focus, it has stood the test of time... but he does specifically say in the OP that he is comparing the old Cruze to the Focus... not the doggone FANTASTIC new Cruze. I was reading somewhere that Ford is going back to a conventional autotragic transmission in the next Fiesta... perhaps the next Focus will benefit from a similar trans.
  12. Well I want to say leather but if that is the opening, it my be too narrow to fit a piece of leather. So I'll say metal.
  13. Chevy - Cruze hatch Ford - Focus hatch Hyundai - Elantra GT hatch Kia - Forte hatch Mazda - 3 hatch Toyota - Corolla uR hatch Volkswagen - GOLF Question: where is Nissan with a compact hatch? The Versa is a size down and outclassed handily by all of those listed. I say they needed a Sentra hatch YESTERDAY. Who agrees?
  14. It's for stamping letters into... something.
  15. I will give them $25 for it. And no way am I sharing a car with anyone. People have nasty, dirty, criminal habits and I want no part of that. The idea of a "communal car" is a huge turn-off.
  16. We had an October mini heat wave going (mid-80's temps) for several days that ended abruptly with rain, then wild wind. Right now it's about 45 degrees and gusty as heck. Welcome to SE PA.
  17. "Nissubishi Motors" sounds so cool. How does a Mirage Nismo sound?
  18. I brought my truck home on Valentine's Day, 2015, and I have 30,400 miles on it.
  19. Oh, a Trax.
  20. Yeah my commute is 48 miles per day. I believe I need the piece of mind that 4WD/AWD affords me. The trick is finding something economical that doesn't give up utility.
  21. Daggone, the 5-door Impreza Sport with manual is going to be the hatch to beat, and with comparable fuel mileage to the Cruze hatch... there is a clear winner in the Impreza.
  22. Serious waste of taxpayer dollars.
  23. $24,560 for a Cruze LT RS hatch with stick, convenience package, and 17" (painted silver? cannot tell in the photo) wheels. $27,210 for a Cruze Premiere RS hatch with optional black and machined finish wheels. Both prices include $500 rebate.
