Looks like Lancaster Dodge is selling Fiats now! Which means there is a local option for potential Fiat lovers.

Would have been cooler if they showed it in Vauxhall trim, because Yellow Submarine, because Beatles, because Britain.

Chevrolet News:Chevrolet Updates Colorado's V6, Adds Eight-Speed Auto

Ford might do that... tiny turbo engine, but I would hope GM realizes that a larger NA engine will last longer and give favorable fuel mileage. -
Chevrolet News:Chevrolet Updates Colorado's V6, Adds Eight-Speed Auto

Seems like worthy (if minor) changes. Would like to see if there are any color and trim changes. The order guide still does not include the 2017 Colorado. -
Yeah there is too much "follower" and not enough "standard of the world" in the Escala. The light bub went off in my head when I was reminded that this Cadillac boss worked for Audi beforehand. Say what you will about the 1970's Seville and the 1980's bustleback... both of those junior Cadillacs set off industry-wide styling trends... the Escala follows the low-slung, long roof six window ducktail fastback trend that is (or should be) fizzling out after Mercedes started it all with the original CLS and Audi perfected it with the A7. This car should have started a NEW trend in luxury car styling. BEEN THERE DONE THAT

I stepped over to my bookmarks and deleted my old situation and switched it to the home page. I can navigate from there to where I want to go.

When I come in, first thing is see is "the page you are looking for does not exist". I had my log-in set to come into "unread content" so I guess that changed with the new system.

Haha on the sausages, I just went to the GM order guide, and stop/start is NOT on the 2017 Cruze with manual transmission. Good.

That awkward moment when the new guy drops his bags on your designers and says "make me a Cadillac A7! I'm going to turn this new house into a home!" Also, Cadillac lights simply do not zig like that. Needs vertical lights without branches, front and rear. I do like the interior and the engine and the RWD chassis.

Very good point. I did not know the door handle on a Malibu was directly connected to the stop/start circuitry. This means I would need to enter the car like Luke Duke in those jeans, and push the clutch in to ease it out of gear at, say, 25 MPH and let it coast the last hundred yards to a red light to defeat the stop/start. Complicated list of instructions, but I think I can eventually learn them. Side note: this tank, 464 miles, filled him up with 19.151 gallons of high test gas, 24.228499 MPG. Totally not bad for a 305 hp, 3.6L V6 4WD pickup truck of a certain heft. AND... I do not drive like your grand mammy.

Yeah I am still not big on turbo engines over the long haul, but then I tend to be not about the long haul when it comes to vehicles. '00 GTI 1.8t, traded at about 30k miles '12 Cruze 1.4t, traded at about 6k miles '13 Beetle 2.0 TDi, traded at about 32k miles You've also said you are leery of turbos.

Sorry it's a safety thing with me. Plus it adds complication, and with complication, comes questionable reliability. Don't care about the .2 MPG "advantage".

Honda News: Revealed! 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback, Arrives This Fall
ocnblu replied to William Maley's topic in Honda
Those unnecessary giant black boxes on the front and rear bumpers destroy the looks of the car. Take a moment to imagine the car without them and I am sure you all will agree. The sedan and coupe have grown on me slightly, like a skin tag. Local dealer has a coupe with horrible CVT in that searing green color. Darker colors, like the black one they also have, hide the warts. It is not too bad except for the black stuff on those bumpers... which the new Cruze is afflicted with in RS guise as well. I would still take the Cruze manual RS hatch over this, even with the horsepower deficit, simply because it is not near as bizarre in styling. I was looking at the HR-V this weekend. Overall, the looks are tidy. I like the deep blue and the green colors... but I cannot abide a CVT, or the silly touch screen radio and HVAC controls... they are distracting. I am glad the Civic has retained buttons, IIRC. Between the weak motor, CVT and touch screen dash, I had to cross the HR-V off my test drive list. When I think of the late 80's-early 90's Hondas... the CR-X, and the Civics and Accords with exceptionally low cowls and wishbone suspensions... even the little Civic wagon... I wonder how they got so far afield with their designs and their engineering.
