  1. Wow, nice ones! Thanks for keeping it wide!
  2. For those that want one, I hope this new one brings real sales, not just love.
  3. First 4-year plant model changeover I've heard of. Do you think it will be long enough to clear out v.1?
  4. '79 Electra coupe in light blue with blue landau roof, not a show car, more like a short-commute daily driver. And a '64 Fairlane, red coupe in beautiful condition.
  5. dfelt = Rembrandt of C&G. It would be WICKED tho if it happened!
  6. Maybe it was a Ford. I know Henry was big on soy plastics way back in the day.
  7. I do love my new midsize truck... but I would have bought a smaller truck happily.
  8. Roger made an April thread.
  9. Parked at a residence, a gleaming white Nissan NV200 van with black side moldings and aftermarket (size-appropriate 15") alloys. It was interesting, kind of triumphant, reveling in its ugliness, function over form and just not giving one single f*ck. I admire that.
  10. Very nice progression. I am sure it will be more versatile for highway use. Sweet!
  11. Like I said over onto the Facebook, this looks like one of those deep sea creatures that never sees the light of day. If only we were so lucky this time around. One word: HIDEOUS.
  12. Whoa that is a fine looking car there. I love it all over and wish it banging success in the market.
  13. This thing is awesome. It does look appropriately giant in photos. It's my new desktop background. The bones of the steering wheel appear to be shared between the CT6 and the Impala, but all the flesh is different, duh, that has been the case for 100 years and I do not care. My problem is yes, it looks like a bigger CTS, but I am sure its size will speak eloquently for itself in person. I wish it had more of a finned tail end to convey more swagger... the technical details are amazing though. I agree with bobo, the 4 should be China-only.
  14. Yes I would if I had proper storage for it, and the money of course. But I would look for a coupe rather than a sedan.
  15. I am a fan of this thing. Blown away that Ford has waited this long to give Lincoln what it needs to bring itself back from the brink. The only thing that could ruin it for me is a FWD chassis. RWD with optional AWD is a MUST for this car. The blue interior absolutely ROCKS... reminds me of the days when Lincoln and Cadillac were neck and neck for the luxury sales crown year after year, before the poseurs took over the market (M-B, BMW, Audi, Infiniti, Hyundai, Kia, and Toyota Crown Lexus). I do like the Buick Avenir better... but this is a splendid reincarnation of the Lincoln Continental. Both the Buick and the Lincoln serve up plenty of the romance that has been missing from luxury car design for WAY TOO LONG... which has me more than a little bit concerned for the Cadillac CT6 (STUPID NAME)... will it be too stark? Not enough "Art" and too much "Science"? time will tell... tick tock, Cadillac.
  16. Oz The Great and Powerful! I love it. I love my Colorado too. GM did a great job with these.
  17. 27 vehicles owned so far Chevy: 15 Volkswagen: 5 Pontiac: 2 Nissan: 1 Ford: 1 Jeep: 1 GMC: 1 Saturn: 1 Used: 3 ('73 Catalina, '65 Corvair, '66 Impala) New: 24 Colors: green 6 blue 6 gray 5 black 3 silver 3 red 2 tan 1 white 1
  18. (Personal) Jesus
  19. Oh, it was not really special to collectors, it was a '73 Catalina 4 door hardtop. Green with white top and green interior, with a 400 2 bbl. But I'd love to have it back.
  20. smk4605, wrong again! That was the Golf Mk 1 in 1974, not the Beetle.
  21. cock
  22. boobs
  23. I do miss Pontiac. Welcome to the site, 57! (May I call you 57?)
  24. I think it's a shame that Subaru thinks they need a 7-seater, but if they go through with it, it should be Outback-based, ensuring uniqueness in a crowded CUV market.
  25. Looks better, more modern, not as dumpy... but it also looks like any number of other CUVs in the class. Rogue comes to mind.
