  1. Hyper, I am looking forward to the new 2.3L Ecoboost... but I don't want to see a shortage of 5.0 engines in Mustangs. The 5.0 is most at home in the Mustang and F-150... the engine defines the vehicle, and vice versa.
  2. I am mystified and troubled by the Dart's sales issues. It's a good looking car, in and out, imo. I haven't really heard the supposedly growly cool 1.4L yet, but I am willing.
  3. Always cool to see one with a special hood. Ones without are a dime a dozen these days.
  4. This is awesome sexy... WOW<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/NnzIrRykilA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  5. 2.3L Ecoboost makes me remember the Ford 2.3L SVO turbo 4 from back in the day... used in the Mustang and T-bird, IIRC...
  6. That is truly an inspired beauty. If only there were more to come. With GM's design renaissance, Pontiac could once again have been a centerpiece, as they were in the 60's and 70's. Still hurts my heart.
  7. reg... uh... you worked at a SUZUKI dealership IIRC... if anybody does research, they know ahead of time what they're getting. And I think the CTS coupe has a very polarizing design stylistically, and that is what keeps its sales down.
  8. <p><strong>Django Django... sort of like sci-fi Beach Boys... cute!</strong></p><br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/JQGTORbJgB4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe><br />
  9. I was over at a local 24-hour diner and I spotted something on the placemat. An ad for a new local CNG refueling station open to the public. I wish them luck. Their slogan: The Green Gas of Home http://www.cngofnewholland.com
  10. We've been given a chance to start over. A fresh start of vehicle spots, if you will. Why waste it? Here's the place to post your peeks this January!
  11. All of them look great so far.
  12. Yup, Delta's black one is hot looking. I like the longbeds too, but I don't think it would fit in my garage.
  13. With the new 4.3L and all its horsepower and efficiency enhancements, plus the 6 speed auto in a 2WD with G80 locker and 3.42 gears, a rig like this should get better mileage (hopefully), on average, than my Patriot. Plus it would have a much longer cruising range. I love how they all look so level in the CGI... I wonder if they'll still have that "butt in the air" stance of the 900 in real life? Ford and Dodge don't suffer with such nonsense.
  14. Agreed. My Cruze manual was extremely easy to drive, the engine computer calibration helps a veteran user, I imagine a new manual driver would learn quickly.
  15. Sharp! How'd you get that to post?
  16. In LT, with the 18" double-spoke rims...
  17. Yup, I guess it's obvious. I am in love with the new Silverado, tempered only by my desire to see the US Colorado/Canyon before a decision is made. I've got time. My next vehicle, unless another tragedy befalls me, will be a new GM pickup truck. Reg cab, longbed looks spiffy too, balthy!
  18. It's on my favorites. And a Brownstone reg cab LT shortbed 2WD is my desktop background. For today. Tomorrow it might be a different color, like Tungsten. Or Blue Topaz. Or Ruby Red. Or Blue Granite. I'm glad the base WT has matching black bumpers front and rear this time. It was goofy having a blacked-out front end with a chrome rear bumper as on the 900 base truck. Much more cohesive.
  19. THANK YOU SIR This is awesome! EDIT: Moltie, it's a similar setup to what they have on the 900. The WT trims, esp # 2, offer a bit more niceties than before, WT 2 takes over from LS I guess. I would get an LT shortbed reg cab 4X4, plenty good enough for me. It looks great in reg cab... You can still order the reg cab in WT 1/2, LT and Z71 LT trims. There has been no advancement, but no retreat, something reg cab fans should be grateful for.
  20. z and Camino, I am not sure how to invite ppl to join a Facebook page, but there is one I belong to in reference to the Code130RS. You're welcome to join I'm sure. I love the shoebox look of the Code, it is pure Chevrolet... from '55, to '64-'65 Chevelle, '66-'67 Nova, H-body Monza coupe, and on to the '78-'81 Malibu coupe, it is essential Chevrolet... but it is NOT a Camaro. The Code 130RS could be produced in coupe, sedan, shooting brake or even ute, while remaining a 4-cylinder only model. This is NOT a Camaro, it has possibilities beyond what a Camaro can be, and I view it as a fantastic opportunity to come to market with something only Chevy could do, trading on heritage, yet opening up to a whole new generation. Camaro should remain a bit larger, with V6 and V8 engines. A Camaro can only be a coupe or convertible. And that is a great thing. Code has no such restriction.
  21. Wow! Yeah, this has been our second minor snow event so far this season, the first being a miraculous Christmas Eve gift of about 2 inches. This time it was 3 inches in my area, with full melt in between.
  22. Jeez, miniature photo of a miniature Jeep. I had a nice ride around the countryside this afternoon, however.
  23. Well, I'm going out 4 wheeling in my H2 Rescue Vehicle. It's snowin' its buttocks off!
  24. I hope they have the pickup truck front ends this time, as in olden days.
