    Some COE Love

    Oh a Mercedes pickup truck

    Bad Dog!

  3. Well I want to see the Encore in all the color combinations. The brown is already wearing on my nerves, it's the same color Buick introduced the Enclave in, it's all we saw during the intro phase. For example, a blue or Steel Green might be nifty to see. Black might look good. I wonder how much money the 3.6L is over the 2.4 in an SLE-1 Terrain... I think the 2.5L might be a better choice in the Terrain/Equinox v. the 2.4, I wonder when that's coming... I wonder why it wasn't ready for all appropriate vehicles for the '13 model yerr. NeonLX, that is a WICKED Gremlin!
  4. Well for example my mom had a ridiculous ceramic frog perched on hers. So it's very useful.
  5. Well you can see in the photo that it's on a turntable inside the design studios. I always love to see these proposals and early prototypes. One of the reasons I love Collectible Automobile so much. Chevrolet has a fine truck heritage. They keep giving us excellent trucks, we keep buying them. It's a win-win situation. I will own another.
  6. They do stand out. I've seen quite a few around my local area, driven by a diverse group of folks.
  7. My mom's didn't have one. It's a good idea to put one under it though.
  8. I drove a Terrain the other day, and MAN, coming out of my rough and ready Patriot, it was like driving a Cadillac! It was an AWD 4 cylinder SLT. Very nice vehicle.
  9. Not a speaker. It is just a shag carpet pizza that sits there. It's fully removable, not even a velcro patch to attach it. It does not slide around though.
  10. I thought so, but I don't know the particulars for all the markets these trucks are sold in. It's really a global truck. I imagine this one is a 3.6L... but cannot be sure.
  11. Here's one with "V6 VVT" badges on the tailgate.
  12. Me too, but I have faith the North American version will have some styling changes. The front end on the not-for-NA version is an outdated Chevy face anyway, and does not translate well to a pickup truck.
  13. So, what do you guys think causes this? Is it corrosion from outside, or is it brake fluid gone corrosive with time, or is it condensation inside the lines?
  14. Fantastic render, very thorough according to the latest spy photos. Looks hot!
  15. I cannot understand what this dude is saying. But I do understand the sweet clatter of a baby Duramax engine. Check out this new S-10!
  16. Here's the full, clear version. A guaranteed future classic...
  17. This is apparently a known problem with GM trucks of your vintage. I'm not sure if it's winter salt or condensation causing it. We have a truck in the shop now that burst a brake line leading to a crash, a GMC 1500 HD. We got the customer's permission to send it across the street to the GMC dealer for replacement of the lines. That bill was $800 for all lines, customer-pay with no discount. It's good there were no injuries, and the damage is not too bad. If condensation is the cause, maybe a periodic brake fluid flush would prevent it.
  18. I think there are some airplane enthusiasts here. Pretty cool. Yesterday we were all sitting quietly at our desks punching buttons when a buttoned-down, family man co-worker leaned over oddly in his chair and ripped one. We all died.
  19. What kind of bulli$h! is he spewing? That would have been the coolest box on wheels EVER.
  20. why you gotta be so icy toward the cube
  21. Awesome!
