  1. It's a sweet rig when converted...
  2. Ohhhhh man. Glad I was wrong about it being an obsolete Theta. But, it's so tineh, isn't it precious? They have sufficiently Buick-ized the Astra and Insignia, and based on the single teaser, perhaps it'll be OK, maybe even cool. Thanks, vonVee, for doing some research.
  3. If the Pathfinder goes crossover, I sincerely hope the Xterra remains BOF, based on the Frontier pickup.
  4. My dad has an Impala. It is hard to beat for quiet, comfy cruising in a car that needs very little attention. Some ppl like that... that's why the old girl is still chugging along. The new car will be snazzy, no doubt now about that, but I hope it retains its core values that have made it a favorite among folks who don't want a fussy car to worry over.
  5. I think concentrating on a conversation with someone who is not in the car is a safety concern. Your mind is in the conversation, away from what is in front of you.
  6. I am not sayin' the 2.0t won't be fairly decent, I'm just sayin' I like understressed engines in my luxury autos.
  7. Based on Mr. Doane's photos, this thing is gonna be hot. Will it be shown @ Detroit next munt?
  8. Hopefully I am wrong on this. It's happened before. Need more teasing to be sherr.
  9. Goodlooking vehicle, yes sir.
  10. Mr. Bacon, it sounds a lot like Coldplay's song, Paradise.
  11. Glad to see the 3.6L in there.
  12. YIKES... Buick Vue/Captiva, anyone? The raised patch on the bumper, general headlamp shape, tumblehome angle and side mirror all scream "LAST-GEN VUE" to me... I hope I'm wrong-o. Didn't they try this once already, only to be shouted down by the universally negative reaction?
  13. I liked the RSX, and almost bought one when they first came out.
  14. Excellent idea. Should have been a ban in effect years ago. It's too late for some.
  15. Shows a complete lack of dullness. Seems like Pontiac owners who value sportiness have found their new brand.
  16. Turbo 2.0 is a nice addition, but it's still risky to follow those who eschew the V6. Toyota and likely Honda will continue their V6s in Camry and Accord, since GM is a follower and not a leader these days, I think they followed the wrong rabbit down the hole.
  17. Looks thrilling. Very cool, Mr. Doane.
  18. It seems he's dismantling the Dodge brand, little by little. And that is something he needs to keep his mitts off of.
  19. Much less straitlaced than anything in its class.
  20. Dude, that is right wicked looking, like a dart to the heart!
  21. What the heck is a spooky nannycock?
  22. Sponge Bob
  23. I like it, it has plenty of MB DNA.
  24. Sweet link, if I ever knew, I forgot that any Impala could be ordered with Super Sport package. I've never seen a '61 SS sedan... or wagon. Has anyone else? This has me very curious... I see the link has to be internal sales literature, for salesmen. Is it possible that a last-minute decision was made to restrict SS to coupe and convertible? Or were there really some sedans and wagons built?
