    I've been a vocal critic of CVTs based on my previous experience with them in Saturn and Datsun, but when I test drove the 2012 version of Chrysler's in the Patriot, I was pleasantly surprised. Not bad atall.

    Not sure if you've ever driven a first-gen New Beetle, but the new car seems to be packaged noticeably better, with the flatter windshield and shallower dash perceptibly taking up less passenger space. I sometimes felt like I was driving from the back seat in mine. How's the driving position and the visibility out of the new, flat windshield and low roof?

    So... they're using the "motor AND engine" to restore another vintage Cadillac? And they're going to bury this one, nose-first, into the ground, paying homage to Cadillac Ranch? STUPID! I always thought Cadillac Ranch was an affront to Cadillac history, sort of a "greenies' revenge" sort of thing against Cadillac and what they stand for. Glad to see this has garnered a negative reaction from all over.
